Gran Turismo Sport Livery Thread and Discussion! (Read Original Post!)

It‘s simple but well done 👍 maybe place a real, the livery suiting number „under“ the sports mode number and then disable that one for the upload. It‘ll look a lot better I bet!

Yea that would make sense, I always just put the numbers on first then work around them, thanks for the suggestion 👍
Very nice mate. I'll repost this to hopefully get a bigger audience

Thanks mate  just had it pop through now as I'm typing this

This took a good while. Still need to fix up some spots and add more decals, but I'm taking a break from this.

The U of the subaru looks really weird from that angle  try applying it with the alignment set to camera and not to surface. I think it won‘t be streched then 💡
Yeah, I'm still trying to learn this after using Forza's livery editor for so long :)

I'll update this later.

Forza‘s is far better in terms of aiding you with scaling and sizing of decals and iirc I never had decals streched or anything else in the Forza editor. It‘s really obvious that GTs needs a lot of tweaking :)

i was wondering how this project was going, looks good sofar!

Edit ; would it be an idea to open a new thread dedicated to open wheel liveries?

Actually yknow what... nevermind.

I'll just say you are all doing excellence. Love watching this thread :D

Been working hard lately. Yes these have been made sooooooo many times but I wanted to do my versions and imagine how could modern versions of these look like. So I've mixed them up with some 2017 design and it turned out really well.
Would love to see Porsche bring back these liveries this year, they gonna have 4 cars at Le Mans and they all gonna look the same. Let's dream a bit shall we ? :mischievous:

I've also placed the decals and the drivers names to be compatible online (only DHL will stick out), so enjoy ;)

The Salzburg #90 and Brumos #95 are on their way ;) Porsche got some extra money to race two more RSRs :D

Im sorry but can anyone help my with this? its so annoying & it happens every time.

If you want to prevent the "bleeding" on the top of the spoiler, you can adjust the depht of the decal to a minus number. When you placed the decal on the wing end plate and pressed x, the button on the left (looks like camera) opens 2 setting options. The left is for getting rid of this issue, and sometimes the right one is also needed.

The right options also helps out when laying a decal on some rough spots with louvres etc.
