Thanks. Could you update the category list too? I could do it and PM you in a very few days if you dont want to do the job.

Answering @ToyGTone @sparkytooth @Il_Conte_Sky I expect them to be RWD cars, but, there are always x ways to make it worse, and this is one of them. If they come FF I wouldnt be surprised anymore.

My main point is about the GT (Grand Tourer) Spirit and logic. The GT Spirit is about having special road cars for racing, road cars tuned for racing and homologation. I know that this spirit is coming less strong and important in these days, but I dont think it should be ignored. Its about tuning the suspension, brakes... but keeping "the soul" of the car (I would say modify chassi, body and engine as least as possible).

Some GT cars share only one thing in common with their road counter parts: The body, the appearence. Inside, there is a entirely different car that has never been sold. Diferent chassi, engine, etc... its like a prototype, with a road car body. This is what Mazda 6 and New Bettle are going to be on GT.

Second thing, related to the first, is about logic. GT3 has been always about tuned supercars/luxury sports cars. Audi R8 LMS, Mercedes AMG, Aston Martin Vantage... Not Bettle, not Mazda 6. Even a sport car like Subaru Impreza WRX Sti or the Lancer are still on the logic, even not fully (they would fit better in GT4 only since they are sports car and not super sports car).

GT4 was proposal to be a cheaper version of GT3 and more related to their road counterparts. It has luxury sports car with not so much tuning, sports cars with some tuning, some few small sports cars with some engine tuning so they could match the other models. In a short sentence, its about sports cars and top sedans. It has never been about hatch cars (for getting worse, they kept them FF instead of switching to AWD or FR), actually, none of the real GT4 cars Road counterparts are FF. There are touring classes, like WTCC and its national variants, for Hatch GT Cars and FF City Car sedans. They are changing a little bit with the forced McLaren GT4 in real life, but supercars are supposed to be in GT3, since they are more expensive. Hypercars in GT4, like the Buggatti Veyron, wouldnt make any sense at all, since the veyron is extremely expensive, even if downgraded.

Sorry for being gone a bit offtopic here, but I really needed to explain my point, since it is a little big bigger than just a complain (it is still complaining although).
In saying that, real life GT4 has always had Aston Martin vs 350Z. So, a high end GT car vs something $30kUSA is a far stretch. There was even fwd TT in 2009 FIA GT4.
Audi have officially made an R8 GT4. AMG are developing an AMG GT GT4 for next year. I agree that such high end models, should only be for GT3(in real life). Yet, special vehicles like X-Bow and Sin, are allowed to race.

I'll continue in a different thread.

Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup

It's dubbed the RCZ Gr.4 in-game, apparently. If you look closely, there are several (albeit minor) differences to the actual RCZ Racing Cup:

Finally, on the Huracan Gr.4 photo, there's a yellow mistery taking the hairpin, could be a BMW, but the shape is a bit wrong, and it's clearly a sedan :)

I can't believe there's that much of a debate about that yellow car on a forum for car enthusiasts. It's very clearly a WRX STI.

Mystery solved. I would quote everyone involved in this "mysterious racing taxi" discussion, but that would mean quoting an entire page.

Yeh, almost certain it's the WRX Gr.4.
The white stripe gives it away.

Slow down the speed of this clip at the 1:55 mark.

Maybe just the liveries are alike.
Because the headlights from WRX Sti Gr. 4 and that unknown looks different.
Or maybe the headlights just change appearence when the car is far or blurred.
In the end, I guess we are going to have to wait then (and months, because E3 is over) to find out.

Yeh maybe.
Fair call. 👍

Even closer and higher resolution, taken from the 4K video. ;) I put them in spoilers cause they can take a while to load. :P

Even though it's weird seeing a New Beetle in Gr3 I'm really liking it. Especially those extra brake lights on the wide bodykit. If it drives well I'll probably use it quite often. :)

Also a good view of the back end of the Honda NSX Gr3 and Mazda 6 Gr3.

That Mazda 6 actually looks amazing. Also, i'm so going to put a Herbie livery on the Beetle Gr.3 and no one is gonna stop me. :D

And in case if anyone missed it, the yellow non-GT3 homologated Renault R.S.01 '16 (0:49) is in N600/700(?), and the Alpine VGT (both standard and Race Mode), the BMW VGT, and most likely the other VGTs are placed after the N1000 LaFerrari. (1:36) :

I've given my car list a tweak after E3.
It probably isn't perfect, but I think some of the break-downs are now improved over the current list here.
So I thought I would share incase it was worth using it to help update the first few posts in the thread, particularly the "Grouping" list.

Apologies for the quite excessive length, but it can't be helped. ;)
