It was apparent in one of the interviews posted here that Kaz did not understand the question "will there be more then just new cars?"

This confirms it. That's close to a deal breaker for me. Of course I will still buy GT Sport, however I'm pretty damn bummed there are no historical vehicles or anything older then 2009.

I really think that all the ingame N-cars will have a GR4 and GR3 variant. Maybe even a GRB one as well.

I don't think that all cars are going to have those variants. But if one manufacturer doesn't have a car in Gr.N/3/4/B then they will make one of the cars into that group probably. So that the manufacturer cup (or how was it called) can be possible.

I thought about that as well but there are already manufacturers that have multiple models for certain classes. BMW, VW and Peugeot for example.

I'm in the middle of updating the Track post, and it will be spun off into its own thread once complete.

For those keeping score at home, we're up to 20 layouts, and 15 locations. That's not counting the spotting of Interlagos a few months ago, though.
