Congrats to Lou-E of team Tofu Brothers for winning the 420PP event with his Tofu Shop 96' Elise.

Seems to me that for next season, Lotus cars will be banned. Big thanks to those who came out to the 420PP event.
Season 1 is over and I am safe to say that team PROTOSS are the GTTC's Season 1 champions, as they have showed superior tuning and racing skills, placing 2nd at all three GTTC S1 events.

Final words, I would like to congratulate Lou-E for his persistence and dedication, he placed 2nd in the final standings but he placed 3rd in the 2 previous events, and won 1st place in the last. I'd also like to congratulate the GTTC S1 Champions, team PROTOSS: TimberW, vasho__, and xXHannibaalXx for their excellent tuning and racing capabilities. Season 1 was somewhat of a success, better than I had expected. I will give out info on the GTTC's future soon.

Yep, I'll more than likely make one since you requested it, but you're probably gonna have to wait til Tuesday since I have a final tomorrow.
About the Elises, they will be banned for the upcoming future seasons, so don't worry about anyone bringing them out. Regardless, those who placed first in the S1 events will get recognized for their wins with their Elise.
Regarding Season 2, we are going to need a new track. I have one that might be pretty cool, but if any of you guys might have a cooler one, let me know and I'll check it out. It must be Toscana, corner bank not above 1, road width can only be -4 or -5. Give me a shout.
Oh, and I left my team, so if there is someone willing to put me on their team or join my team, let me know.

Are you sure about banning the Elises? I would not do it. As when you think about this, each season there will be a car that will out do the rest. Than each season the car that would winn in most cases would be banned?
In the end we would end up with no cars lol.
I would think this over as this is not the right way to go in my opinion.
For example the NSX is a very strong car. Will this car be banned as well after the next season?
Regarding the track: Share your track and i will test it. Looking forward to the next runs.
Btw. - next saturday is which event taking place?? 500PP or 460PP??

The way I see it, Lotus cars would be in the God tier, just as Akuma is in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Akuma is banned in every tournament known to man specifically because everyone would use and abuse him to win. See, as Lou-E said, he had switched to an Elise because he lost to an Elise 2 times in a row, Mopar-383 even bad-mouthed him when he won the 420PP event. I knew Lou-E coming into this league, he had a Civic EG6 that rivaled Heru_Farukon's Integra DC2, and then seeing him compete in the 420PP class with an Elise only to win seemed kinda meh on my end. I actually congratulate him though because as I said, he was persistent and basically, "caught on" and won an event.
An NSX would have to win all three events in one season for it to get banned, and I don't see it winning the 420PP event. Even if it did win all three somehow, I wouldn't ban it anyway because it is not among the ranks of the Lotus cars.
I do see what you mean vasho and I do understand, I could not ban Elises for next season, but if Elises start winning all three events again, I'd expect people to not show up anymore because of the Elise monopoly.
I'll share the track, and I don't know about starting Season 2 this Saturday already, I'd prefer the Saturday after.. Well, all of the "for sure" active teams are still registered though, what do you guys think?

I do understand what you mean. But i hope that the drivers participating in this event - The ones that did not use a Lotus before will not start using it just because it did win all the events.
Well we will have to see how the next season ends up.
But its your call in the end. You have to decide.
Well i am on vacation from the 20 of this month for 11 days. So i will not be here if it will start in 2 weeks. But that doesnt matter.

I've got a car that would beat the Elise.
Hey bro, if it's a WRX, I'd understand. If anything, the WRX would be right under the Elise or equal in regards to touge potential. Last time I checked the LotS thread, there was a discussion on 4WD cars being among the top ranked cars with a few FD's. Regardless, it seems that FR and FF cars suffer somewhat in GT5, or maybe in just touge in general in this game (MR, 4WD being the superiors). Tire width is a big issue too, I see most 4WD's have wide tires and the FD. Worst part about it is that you can't "put" wider tires on the car you want, such as a Silvia S15 (that thing has granny tires lol).

I think the FD has potential but needs a very good tune.
The MR NSX is a great all round car and suited to all types of GT5 racing.
The WRX is a beast on short tracks mainly down to it's short wheel base and it's amazing AWD system.
These 3 machines are all willing participants to take down the Elise given they are tuned and driven well.
