Yeah the S15 has pizza cutters on it and they look ugly lol
I think the FD has potential but needs a very good tune.
The MR NSX is a great all round car and suited to all types of GT5 racing.
The WRX is a beast on short tracks mainly down to it's short wheel base and it's amazing AWD system.

These 3 machines are all willing participants to take down the Elise given they are tuned and driven well.

I reckon if I tune my S15 to perfection, it will be a beast against an Elise.
I might tune a Suzuki Cappuccino as well to top the Elise. I know what the Elise has over the other cars and I can use that advantage against it.

Looking forward to that!!!!!

Yea.. I can't even tune an S15 to beat my own FD, both having almost the same power, the S15 being somewhat lighter too.

RX-7s (both FC and FD) nearly always had an advantage against most cars due to their weight distribution. Even though the mileage sucks.

I tryed out the Sidewinder Touge Track and must say that i like it very very much.
Very good track. It got good flow - at least for me.
So hope to see good battles in the upcoming event.

Glad you liked the track, I like its sharp turns that allow you to make plenty of drop-ins in the track edges to maintain speed :)

When's the new season going to kick off scorrrg?

Season 2 shall start next Saturday guys with the 460PP class, most likely in the same time frame, 5:00PM CST.

I know this seems very late but indeed Season 2 will start this Saturday with the 460PP class. Lately I've been taking care of school registration, and keeping up with the DotA 2 International Championships.

So on Saturday I'll host the official room at around 5:00PM CST, Lotus cars are banned, Track will be Sidewinder Touge.

See you guys there!

I am on vacation then. So i will not be able to make it. But i wish best of luck to all the teams that are participating. Especially to Team PROTOSS.
Hannibaal - good luck on this one.

Btw - you still did not upload the video of the last event.

After some discussion we decided to hold the first season 2 event next Saturday on the 27th. The reason for this decision is that it was to short of a notice for some people and we want to allow the maximum number of contenders to register for the event.

I didn't make it man, I've been really busy with other things unfortunately. It might be too late to put it up now, but I'll see.

I tought so that you are busy - its no problem. But better late than never. Its your call - if its too much work than leave it!!!!

Btw - check out the Legend of the Streets Teaser!!! - GTTC should have something like that as well!!! :)

I have just built up my cappuccino and ran it on one of my own touge runs. It matches my 460PP modified S13.

The Cappuccino is a good car but it really depends on where it runs... I wouldnt run it with any 460 in GTTC...

If it runs on a rather technical course, it will maintain a higher average speed.

can i be removed from the team im registered in?
since like i mentioned before, i wasnt even aware i was signed up.

Though i would like to register my garage and team once i can get some drivers to go along with me

Postponed the 460PP event to someday later as we were experiencing ridiculous network issues. People were getting kicked and getting network incompatibility messages.

Also, I am no longer going to organize the GTTC's upcoming events after the 460PP one. Any questions, contact me.

Was kind of dissapointing this didnt happen as planed today, I was looking forward to it! lol, but oh well. :( Hopefully tomorrows patch will fix the connection issues we had and if this does get rearanged things will go smoother. Looks like I might have to find out what this Legend of the Streets stuff is all about that i've been hearing about as GTTC looks like its coming to an end, shame realy it looked like a good league.

Please do look at LotS man, it has a very solid system and doesn't require any event organizers and stuff like that.

I've been running the GTTC practically by myself since the start of Season 1, and now that school has started (college for me), I can not depend on anyone to run it the same way as I have in case I am not available. I did not found this league nor receive any official co-founder status, yet I ran it alone with the help of TimberW and others who have been participating. Regardless, the GTTC I'd say is the father of the current smaller GT5 touge clubs, thanks to the founder, optomuscrime only for the idea, and myself, Gr3yKn1ght who actually ran the GTTC. Others have seen a good example of how to conduct touge battles in GT5 and now are going to further expand the touge racing experience. I'd also suggest checking out the Touge Drivers Club, ran by Nightingale__ , I just joined his club and I am intrigued on how it will be run.

All aside, I will give an official word on the 460PP event's status for the GTTC soon.

Thanks for hosting and organizing the GTTC. Without it, LotS probably wouldn't have taken off and be what it is today. TOSS wouldn't have existed and PROTOSS wouldn't been around as well. You're good on the touge... So will see you in TDC if not... come to LotS and we can battle it out there!
