This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Updates to DR are interesting as well. I wonder if they're doing that because during the WS races so many people are so close in DR that there isn't much a swing in either direction regardless of where you finish.
Most definitions of North America include everything exclusively on the North American Plate - which does include Cuba - so it's probably about right.Interesting that Mexico is being moved to North American servers but Central American countries aren't.
So if you hit me by no fault of mine, we both get penalties? That's how I read that.Under this rule, any contact resulting in a significant change in direction or speed for either car involved would result in penalties for both drivers.
It's 4 races and none of them are Gr4.I got my hopes up for a real change of format...but nope. Still the same 3 race format since GTSport with Gr.3 & Gr.4.
Back to lobby racing then.
Sigh, punted into someone else at T1, damage, SR and DR affected, left wondering why I play this game.Regarding the DR award/penalty change, seems like it could reduce participation especially in GT1 with heavy damage on. Now, not only will you end up with a poor result due to someone rear-ending you on lap 1, you could also lose a large chunk of DR.
