This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Media has not been invited to any GTWS events this year, unfortunately. Will GTPlanet (and other media, Super GT as well) be invited this time?
Would be a real missed opportunity for PD not to let you tour its HQ again.
That really sucks. =/Media has not been invited to any GTWS events this year, unfortunately.
I would not be surprised to see some Japanese press at this event, though, as PD has their own relationships with local media in Tokyo (for obvious reasons) and there would be no travel or additional expenses involved to accommodate them.
Not to mention practicing for the next exhibition season, which I expect will come after the live event and feature this race.Kinda bummer they don't tell us the tire and fuel multiplies for the Manu race. That would definitely influence my guess on who will win.
Just remember that aside from being faster, cleverer, and better-looking, the WS drivers are better at saving tires than most of us, too. (Not randomly accelerating too early like I always do probably helps that a lot...) So they'll probably be able to stretch them a lap or two further. Not to mention practicing for the next exhibition season, which I expect will come after the live event and feature this race.
I spent some time this weekend doing some test runs with my short list of unpopular cars to see which ones fair best. I'm guessing we'll see 3x tire wear and 1x fuel. That gives 5-6 laps on RS tires before the performance starts dropping off, and is the only setting that allows going the whole race without adding fuel. On 4x tire wear, the RSs start dropping off after 3-4 laps, which seems too short for a 22-lap race, even if that is what we saw in the recent daily race there. That's just my guess, though. We'll have to wait and see what we actually get.
You don't have to win it, you just have to watch the race stream within the game for literally one second at any point in the dates given.Well, that Mazda 787b would REALLY look nice in my garage! If I manage to win that pretty thing, it would save me a whole lot of credits... and besides it's such a brilliant race car, very efficient all around. I'll certainly try to get it if I get the chance.
Yeah, I know. Just clicking on that button in the given date should be enough. You don't have to win it, you just have to watch the race stream within the game for literally one second at any point in the dates given.

There is PS Remote Play to just do that if you have a somewhat good mobile connection wherever you currently are with a minute to spare.Yeah, I know. Just clicking on that button in the given date should be enough.
The problem for me is finding time to fire up my PS4... I've been very busy lately.
Remains to be seen and also if they've already finished polishing it.Since gt7 is going to be playable at tgs on ps5 pro, do yiu think that also at the live event in tokyo theyare going to use ps5 pro?
I'm not sure who I'm picking yet, but I'd definitely advise picking someone driving an FR car.Who are you folks picking for the Manufacturers Cup prediction? I was thinking to go Miyazono but I don't play online much so I have no idea what car brand is meta for the Manufacturers Cup race.
Thanks for the tip, I'll do just that.I'm not sure who I'm picking yet, but I'd definitely advise picking someone driving an FR car.
MRs really don't like the downhill section of Bathurst on this game.
Bathurst ? .. wow. Interesting.Races are out, too:
Manufacturers is 22 laps of Bathurst, all tyre types required.
Nations Sprint is 10 laps of Tokyo East in the tuned production cars. This is good news because they will undoubtedly port this as Daily C either next week or the week after, and it's actually Daily C-length for once instead of 7 laps of Eiger.
Nations Final is 27 laps of Grand Valley, in the X2019 as usual.
Common theme of note: Lots of close walls.
Oh my, six laps on Hards to finish? Was mulling over Toyota or Genesis, but had to go Lexus after Kawakami's lap.
Yup. Kokubun should have watched more Bathurst races. Don't try to hold on on the outside of T2 and T3.Can't help but think the BMW and Mazda could have had a better result here had they waited to fight until they caught the top two.
