I saw this on my local news tonight. That guy has an awesome voice! Wow, how could a talent like that gone for so long without a job?

Yeah, such an inspiring story! Makes me think twice about all the homeless people in Houston. Maybe some of them are down-on-luck radio announcers. It's a much bigger problem than the media portrays.

Well, he wasn't always homeless.
I know what you're getting at though, and like I said, he is incredibly articulant. Which makes me even happier to see things turn out as well as they are (and will continue to) for him.

It's a sunshine and lollipops story, but people are usually bums for a reason. The been-there-forever bum over here looks like she's ready for death. I haven't seen her in a while, but she's back. Lost all her teeth and looking more disgusting than ever. Her mouth is constantly agape as if grasping for air like those in their final minutes of life. She plods along through traffic, no longer holding a sign. I have a feeling she will die soon. Hope she finds something better than what she has now.
Luckily, this guy got a break. However, I wouldn't say he's any better than anyone else with a voice like that. Not unless he got his voice from gargling Jack Daniels and crack rock.

I don't understand the hate of this guy, he's turning his life around and caught a break. I'd rather have him be a productive member of society then a bum on the street.
