So glad the handling is close to the same as 2019 which means i didn't need to adjust to anything.

The menu is a little confusing.

And so glad my favorite feature from 2019 is still here the nemesis feature i just love pissing the ai off

Early impressions of the new endurance mode are epic!! I hopped on and did the first story race at Fuji before work, and while winning the race itself is fairly straight forward, the real fun is trying to get ahead of the faster class cars!

It takes some seriously ballsy divebombs, but if you can get the move done, your next challenge is to keep them all in the rear view!

Can't wait to try the rest of them :D

The AZ-1 is kinda neat, you can do a lap of Suzuka East without ever letting off the throttle if you get the corners right. It does leave me wanting the Cappuccino and Beat to be present to add some more variety to the class though. There's just too many classes that only have one or two cars in them.

Haven't really tried Fuji yet, but it's another one of those tracks that I've driven in so many other games that it's hard to really be excited about it anymore. Might be interesting with the extreme weather conditions, though.

One thing I forgot to check before heading to work was whether or not you can run Fuji backwards. I dare say you can though, and that alone will be a whole new experience!

Anyone else have an issue where the game has reset their progress but it still shows gold trophies etc on the event but 0% completion. I’ve had Grid legends day one and was pretty far in campaign etc then came back after a few updates and my progress is gone still shows I’ve won those championships etc but shows 0% complete etc which I know I have done them

Ok, got Grid fully installed and ready to play tonight! I did a quick go on the demo and saw an option to increase race length to 5x. Does that affect the rewards?

That is really unfortunate. It's a bug that happens when you restart a race in a championship. At least that was my case. I was about to unlock the Gauntlet when it happened. Had to restart all over.
It's a game breaking bug that need to be fixed.

You can run it in reverse, but I feel like it doesn't flow nearly as well that way as it does in the normal direction. Granted it may be more dependent on what cars you use, but I can say that neither the Cadillac LMP and Formula X liked it very much.

Slightly disappointed that the Endurance Mode doesn't have a tire management aspect to it like Autosport did, but otherwise it's pretty enjoyable. It's basically how I imagined the Multi-Class races should've been from the get-go, and it better allows for some more realistic matchups. Only thing I'm not crazy about is that in the Race creator, even though you can pick multiple classes, you can only have 7 total cars available across all selected classes. I tried to setup a race with GTE, GT3 and GT4 cars, and that discovery was quite disappointing. Otherwise, this mode has become the most fun way to rack up miles on various cars for upgrades.

As for the cars, I haven't driven the Speed 8 or V12 LMR yet, but the Mazda AZ-1 is very fun, and will greatly challenge your ability to maintain a high average speed. Being too aggressive or too delicate will result in a significant loss of speed, and that's very costly in a low-powered car like the AZ-1. The Bentley GT3 is very fun and fairly balanced overall in terms of driving behavior. It's instantly become my favorite car in the GT3 class.

Also @PJTierney, any chance you can put a bug in EAs ear about officially releasing the soundtrack? I fell like it would make excellent workout music. :D

I hate this car-type limit. Not sure why it is even there?

I see that apart from the Story mode is a Career mode. I'm assuming that this is for when you want to make your own team and work your way through different events and new Rivals.

I want to play with it after I finish all the Seasons in the Story (well, all the playable ones anyway...)

Pretty much. The Career mode takes place "after" the story mode, so the story mode will provide a small bit of context to some aspects of the career mode, if you care about that. Otherwise, the story mode basically serves as a 2-4 hour tutorial that lets you test drive various events and car types.

Gotcha. Probably a good thing I'm doing the Story first. Don't know if the DLC Seasons are chronological with the main one.

I don't think the career unlocks until after you complete the main story.

It is unlocked from the start. The story is entirely optional.
I apologise. I should've gone back and read the thread more carefully.

When I did I even managed to fix my Racenet problem thanks to @breyzipp's post https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/grid-legends.399846/post-13592702 . I'd changed my email address on my Xbox account but the Racenet one was welded to my old address. Logging into Racenet with that address and unlinking the Xbox account enabled me to link a new Racenet account with my current email (and Xbox) address and get online in Grid. I wish EA Support had been able to figure this out when I called them a few months ago instead of telling me to wait for an update on social media. Luckily we have GTPlanet.

Glad my post was helpful :)

DLC stories are set after the main story, if you care about spoilers.

So is Career but that has no story so the only potential spoilers would be what AI drivers are with what teams.

The absence of a certain villainous father and son team from the career AI roster is something of a story spoiler in itself.
