Group C Endurance League, 5/17/25, 14. 175 Miles of Watkins Glen (S), Open 7pm, Qualifying 8pm, Race 8:45pm Eastern USOpen

There was nothing confusing in that post, in fact I would say it was very straight forward. 🤣 🤣
Well they accepted the friend request. Now will they show up? And if they do. Will they quit 20 minutes into the race and never return? Find out next time on Racing League Drama.

Also are there any Sponsorship Exemptions available in the Unlikely Event that I do not get a Sub 2:00:00 time? Apparently my Pit Crew is Complaining about Working on a Saturday 🤦‍♂️😂😂😂😂😂

Yeah I'm starting learn I'm now old. I turning 35 at the end of July. One of my favorites bands just celebrated 20 years anniversary for one of their most popular albums last year. That album came out when I was in high school. Realizing that made me feel real young.

@Cold Warrior okay I got a 1:59:250 I have shared it on my gallery but also I will send it to the both of you now! The last Lap felt good I definitely left some time out there but either way I'm happy with it .....😁
Okay dumb question how do I send the video 🤦‍♂️
We do really care how fast you. Chances are your faster than me. I know how to post pictures. Not sure if videos work the same.

@fastone371 okay I sent you all a clip and both of you my tune settings for the car i didn't know another way to send the clip other than the way I did but you can also go to my gallery and look because I saved the lap there as well.....Thank you all for the Opportunity and I am Definitely Glad I was able to actually complete it.....Now to pick a car and Maybe the Nissan because I enjoyed that ..... Other than anytime I got the slightest bit comfortable with the car and thought I got this.....IT TRIED TO KILL ME!!!! 😂😂😂😂

I'm still trying to learn.....I'm def not the fastest but I'm getting better with the wheel I feel like every week.....it's A Lot to try and understand especially BRAKING that is Everything I have came to realize....too much your too slow or understeer or spin out.....too little and your slow cause you will over shoot the apex or not stop ..... However it's fun and addicting getting the lap was a huge adrenaline rush and I'm sure my neighbors hate me now cause I definitely YELLED WHEN I GOT IT.....😂😂😂😂 Yeah the day I turned 40 I woke up And my knee hurt my wrist and back hurt lol I was like this can't be what getting old is like😂🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I use the news feed in the upper left corner of the screen to share video, it's the only way I know in game. For whatever reason the Sauber appears to be the slowest of the group C cars.

Judging by real life what I've found reported for real life characteristics. The Mercedes is possible the most inaccurate. It particular the in game car seems to have a lot of drag too. And performs closer to the high downforce aero package. Despite the car in game is the low downforce aero package. Used for Le Mans and Monza. They were allowed to change out the wings back then. They were also to boost power for qualifying.

The Mercedes was possible the best of the 5 before the big update last summer. Something they chanced was not in it's favor. Which is sad. Last year I found a really good aero setup for the Mercedes at Spa. I wonder if putting the old default settings back it would still work? It possible has the best aero package but, they really hurt it's cornering low and mid range. And it's thirsty. Though I don't think of Mercedes when I think full efficiency. It does have a slight straightaway advantage over the Porsche but, the Porsche beats to many other places. At least with the new default settings.

When I tested the Sauber it seemed like it was down on power compared to the other cars but it seemed to drive the best, at least for me. It's hard to tell where you are losing lap time when you are the only car on track sometimes. I never checked but can lap times be loaded as a ghost from other cars you drive in time trial??

I ran Mercedes at the Nurburgring 24h for the practice race before the season started. I was thinking about going running the Mercedes. Along with straightaway speed. I felt it was losing out in slow corners on the GP course. The main reason I opted against running the Mercedes was because Le Mans No Chicane being on the schedule. Hard to ignore a straightaway that long.

Happy Earth Day everyone. Only 4 left the 2nd running of the 2 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. The World Sportscar Championship (WSC) Group C did make stops annual. Thought they did not run a 24 hours race. WSC did at one point run a 24 race at Spa but, stopped and reduced it to a standard 1,000 km. A few years prior to the beginning of the Group C era. So this is more of a what if race.

Hey another interested party. There should be room but, this Group C has been surprisingly more popular than I ever expected.

Friends Request sent. I'll add you to our PSN Group Chat after you accept it. The chat is a little bit more lively than the GT Planet forum.
Have you read the regulations for the current Group C league?

Thank you, yes I have read through all the regulations in the first few posts. I intend to drive the 962 but I'm happy to drive for another manufacturer if balance is needed. Is it ok to change livery from race to race or is consistency needed?

I change livery almost every race. I like running historic liveries. As long as you don't run something like will make people, Gran Turismo, or the Manufacturers mad. I really don't care what you run.

I will not be able to make the race at Spa. I have a celebration of life event I must attend. It's OK anyways, turns out I think I am off the pace a little, 2:03's are the best laps that I am running.

That stinks this is a big points race. Hopefully Boost shows up too score some points for Nissan.

That's ok I'm at best running 2:06's. Apparently I have not adapted well to either the new psychics, and or the new tire model. I farther off pace that I was last year. Even at places I consider myself good at. And I unfortunately don't know where I'm losing so much time.

Anyways enjoy your family activities.

Points don't really mean much to me.

Only 1 day of left the 2 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. For those that are new. This is a 24 hours race squeezed into 2 hours. There will be a night portion. And there's a possibility of rain. All weather slots will be random. So make sure to buy wets. See you guys. tomorrow night.

Less than 13 hours until the lobby opens. I may open early if convenient and I have nothing better to do. I'm looking forward to a lot of laps at Spa-Francorchamps tonight. No only because our race but, Gran Turismo's World Series Nation's Cup race is also at Spa. I may still enter the last time slot after our race tonight. Should have plenty of practice by then. So you guys soon.
