1st Race - Monza - 6 Laps

Car: Road Cars - 600PP - Sport tires


2nd Race: St. Croix C - 7 laps

Car: Mercedes AMG GT-R '17 - 611 hp - 2866 lbs. - RH


3rd Race: Le Mans - 5 laps - BOP

Car; Gr1 C only - Tires RM

Room opens at 7:30 pm EDT , Race starts at 8:00

Is the 3rd Race BOP, PP or wide open to anything?
 
Found a video explaining some of the Fanatec issues. Thankfully, mine is drivable. The car is ok; my driving skills, meh. Glad they make great gear atleast, bankrupt SOBs

PP Races - Road Cars Only - Any PP

Race and Track conditions:
Weather: Sunny and Clear Day (we will try a few different formats but no rain for now)
Laps: 5 to 9 depending on track length
Grid: Stand start
Tire: consumption during race will be set @ 3x for all races.
Fuel: consumption during race will be set at 100 liters and 4x for all races.
Qualify: fastest first for every race
Penalty System: on
Boost: Strong
Slipstream: Real

1st Race
Watkins Glen short
Laps: 9
Car: Gr.4 - BoP - No tuning (Brake Balance only) - Tires: RH

2nd Race
Blue Moon Infield A

Laps: 8
Car: Gr.3 - BoP - (Brake Balance only) - Tires: RM

4th Place chooses combo for next race

PS 2 - Due to the amount of work for the lobby host in GT7, a headset is requested. There will be no typing from the host with instructions.

I can do Saturday. Will post races in the next few hours.
NOTE: My son Mark (Geezling) will be a guest racer tomorrow for the first two races. He is the one who introduced me to Gran Turismo some 10 years ago. He stopped racing shortly after to pursue an occupation. Yesterday was spent learning these two tracks so he knows no others.

Oh ho holy heck we broke a garage door. I’ll spare the details, but, it was like an episode of the barn find show. And four of us can lift a 1697 lb car. I was surprised I didn’t forget how to drive a stick. And man oh man is it loud, low, no ABS or power steering and I still, hours later, cannot stop smiling. Very memorable day.

Rig maintenance day! Gonna upgrade the pedal motors. Depending on what power supply I find inside. I may or may not up the power from 4.6 to 7-8 volts with new badass motors. Nerd stuff....

Good morning Geezers, I apologize for leaving the room AGAIN .I received a message from the Divebomber (Luke).‘sorry for the bump I have left the room you can rejoin’.BUMP??? He wrecked me into the wall and KEPT ON GOING!!! . I normally let this reckless guy pass me and wreck someone else .
But I felt like racing last night.So , I’m taking a break from racing and hosting the Geezers lobbies.I have had A great time racing with you guys.But I just don’t have the patience anymore. I’ll see you guys soon except for Luke 🤬
 
A few weeks ago, I offered to help drivers with driving skills or racing rules and ethics, to help make the Geezers a safer, more fun, place to race. Nobody took me up on this, so far, so I restate the offer.

Apparently, I will have Sunday off, so I could open a private lobby after the Geezer racing is done. Usually I did this one on one, but I would be willing to help two, maybe three at once to see how it works out. It will probably take at least an hour (for 1, not sure about more).

If anyone is interested, please let me know soon. If you need different hours or days, let me know.
