👍

I did Daniel,very much... 👍

But you ,again, don't get my point man...

let me put it as simple as i can:

There has never been a man winning the GTacademy ,or any other contest like this, who is by talent- the fastest guy/man/dude..in the game...

If they would, you would have won it by a mile last year!!...but.... :ill:

You are one of the/if not the/fastest gt driver out there...but still, you screwed up(sorry to put it this way)at the silverstone finals...

So am i mistaken to say you were wrong in your statement i reacted to initially?...

Your call mate.. 👍

spy.

Hey, I was confining my argument solely to the national finals only and not the main event itself, my performance over in silverstone was sub par due to lack of fitness and a bit of jet lag thrown in, I was still happy that I managed to win a couple of events, namely the very first driving exercise:tup: If by a miracle I get another shot at it, I will be 10 times better prepared.

Congrats to the Italian winners:tup:👍

Not at all, in the same way that Ed is a Decathlete, so walked all over everyone in the fitness tests. I don't have a problem with either case. James had an advantage in the auto test and made the most of it. Ed was very fit, so won the fitness tests easily. Fair play to both of them.

I'm sure everyone would like a two hour test to prove their worth, but that wasn't feasible, and allowing each person five or six runs each is, at the very least, a judge of potential.

It's not the same for Ed at all, they're looking for someone with driving talent developed or discovered from the game who is fit, they're not looking for an athlete with no athletics experience who can drive fast.
The whole idea is the candidate should have discovered and honed their skills from the game and then Kazanouri can show the world the realism of the game by example. Like I said Lars with a bit more physical training is probably the best example of that so far.

Bruno 'meagainstyou' Ferreira has made it to Silverstone ! Great news, big congratulations to him having been out of action through technical failure for a month and having to go through the wildcard competition. He was looking extremely quick on Friday before leaving for Spain doing 2'42's and 2'41 on his first laps at Cape Ring and he didn't even have the 370 Tuned to practice, I had to lend him mine as he lost his gamesave when his PS blew.👍

Well done Carlos Murillo who also made it.

For those that are interested you can find two HD clips of the Dutch GT Academy finals at my youtube account: http://www.youtube.com/user/DaftMav

One with a press demo of the Nissan 370Z where Dutch rally driver Kevin Abbring does some laps with the press that was present. And the other clip is a montage of the second day of the Dutch GT Academy Finals with a bit of everything the participants had to do that day. :)

Bruno is the reason why I went from 13th GTA08 to 3rd GTA10 to 2nd GTA11, we did 15 minute TT's, 20 minute TT's and tried to get as many firsts on the leaderboards as possible he forced me to get faster. Fantastic racer too. I really am happy that another one of the 'aliens' has made it.👍

Good Luck to you both and the rest of the finalists :)!

Thanks buddy :) I'll be trying to keep everyone updated via Twitter and Facebook (assuming we're allowed to). This time now in four days I'll be on my way from Paris to La Sarthe, it's such a surreal feeling. :)
