GT Concept - Sharkport/X-Port - GT3...

I've posted this message in the GT Concept forum but I thought I'd get better response here, so...

I don't have a Sharkport or X-Port at the moment, but I was wondering that, if I did have one, could I take cars from Concept and put them into GT3? Would it be possible?

I'm always hearing about cars being hacked out of GT3 and thought it would be cool if you could add a new car to your garage from GT Concept, a car that you can't get in GT3, i.e. Jaguar S-Type and so on.

You can't put GTC cars into GT3, but you can put certain GT3 cars into GTC.

You can only add GT3 cars into GTC. If you wanted GTC cars to be in GT3 they would have to be programmed into it by the programmers at PD.

extra question 2 this. Do sharkports/x port work on the PAL version of GT3??? cause if they do ill probably order one.

Sharkport = NTSC
X-Port= PAL

They're the same thing, just different names for the different regions.

You mean they put GT3 cars onto the GTC disc? Why would they do that if you cant get them without a Sharkport?

Well you ahve an Xport since they made an NTSC version of it . Im hoping I didnt misread your post as I usually misread things ...

You are correct!

I wish there was a way that you could view replays between the different regions. If your a NTSC/Sharkport user, you are unable to view PAL/Xport replays due to the different frame rates of television sets between the USA and the rest of the known world.

Why can't we all just be on the same systems? It's just causing problems. Like when I was in Hong Kong we were constantly asking "Is it PAL?" and if you've talked to chinese people before you know how difficult it can get. Damn Americans!!!

Because PD are assclowns sometimes.
I mean the game would have been much better if they had let you access all the cars on the disk instead of less than half of them.

Although driving 787b at Autumn ring is just soo fun.

I agree Cobraboy. Besides certain cars and tracks, there is nothing defining the differences between the PAL version and the NTSC version. WHy not have the best of both worlds?
