GT Drivers Club?

What ever happened to the "GT Drivers Club" hinted at last February? A series of events that was going to compliment the Seasonals?


I was interested in the idea of "expert" Seasonals which would be a big challenge but the idea seems to have been scrapped. Was there an official press release or anything?

As far as I know Drivers club was never mentioned again . I was intrigued by the idea of what it could be . Hopefully it will materialise in the future .

I have a feeling that they decided to keep it for gt6 with all the things they are still trying to improve or fix in gt5.

Ha, I've been thinking the same since last February too! For me GT is just missing something..... and that 'something' would hopefully be the elusive GT Drivers Club!!!!! I hope it does materialise in the future in GT5 and not held back for GT6!

Nope. Kaz hinted that something was up for March, and the Photomode website may be just that. I'm afraid this may have been dropped, as we already have Seasonal Events that accomplish pretty much the same thing (although GT Driver's Club was announced after Seasonal Events were already implemented).

Had I a twitter account, I'd ask Kaz weekly about this. However, I'm not creating a twitter account just for this, and I already have the phone numbers of anyone that would possibly follow me, so for me, twitter is kinda useless.

Only time will tell, I suppose, but I am glad to see this topic revisited. I know that PD occasionally checks comments left on the MyGT message board, and I've done just that.

We shall see.

I don't think it was meant to be seasonal events. The translations from japanese to other languages aren't THAT off, if ever, when announcements are made in the news section in GT5.
