I can't complain to be honest. I was surprised after the car came to rest It was recoverable. When I've gone flying off sheer edges like that before it tends to be all over most of the time.
I was expecting to be unrecoverable as I flew through the bush...pleasantly surprised to have been able to continue.

That was good fun!

Made an absolute bottle job of Stage 4 by ignoring a 'Brake' call thinking I could tank it and promptly ended up wedged in a bush with all four wheels suspended off the ground.
Cost myself a silly amount of time trying to salvage it before realising that I was floating in a bush and you in fact cannot move with no tyre ground contact.

I think pace wise P6 overall is about as high as I can go in current form so I'll be pushing for that next rally.

Spain was definitely worth a trip! I really enjoyed the fast and smooth roads. My first fastest time in this championship on the first special stage was a great feeling. A spin on SS3 cost me 10 seconds, but I was still within striking distance of the leader until the last stage. Unfortunately, overconfidence got the better of me in the end, and a couple of big mistakes on the power stage dropped me back to P3 overall. A bit disappointing, but the pace is there. Now I have to work on my consistency.

Welp, at least I'm pretty sure I probably won't be last again this week. I think.

Lady Death came to my house, and asked "Did you die in Greece ?", and I said "Almost, but didn't :P"; She left and said "See you for Round 5, sweetheart :sly:", so it's a matter of time :ill::lol:

So, yeah, I survived, despite hitting a giant rock on Stage 4 :ouch:

Felt like I was having a decent run until SS5 where I decided to take a closer look at the scenery :banghead:

Coasted through SS5 saving tyres and avoiding damage to try and take some power stage points instead. We'll see how that pans out

Sounds like there were multiple offerings to Thanatos on the Rally of Gods in this unlucky thirteenth championship. It sounds like Greece is the new Mediterraneo. Hairpins and mountains just don't seem to mix and I doff my racing cap to the modern day heroes who mange to pull this off year after year in real life.

Think I'm gonna be crawling around the old Mediterraneo at recce speed when it returns next Friday. At least it won't be raining or blizzarding. :scared:
