Ok! So I just spent several hours screwing around with my Z06 (C6) '06 and got it to run a 9.270 flat. Not the fastest on here but not bad for a couple of hours. Maybe some tips on how to get more out of it? I am using DS3 with nothing more than a wing added. Any help would be great.

Well, not sure right now. But the record is 9.256, and that time isn't "traditional". By traditional I mean its not a 2nd gear timed launch. So I'd aim for maybe 9.260, but not sure of any tips...

So lets say i make a tune that i can launch from 1st qs to 2nd and use it at Indy and get a 9.266, that would be considered what? Retro.. Just cuz i didnt launch off 2nd?

Many people do not know more than 1 way to launch specific cars. I'm sure all the beginners, amateurs, and people who have been away from tuning for a while (e.g. pastorjth), think that to get the fastest time for a C7 is with a timed 2nd gear launch... wrong. I don't think that it is cheating (not stated anywhere in the leaderboard rules), I don't think that is retro (teammates tell me retro is 123 qs launch), and I never mentioned anything about 1 2 qs launch nor retro.

Im not playing dumb.. If you read what i wrote i was aiming at what he said. To him 1st gear launch isnt traditional. I just wanted to make a point were it can be acceptable without using retro launch. Get it?

Retro can be qs 123 but depending on the car. But i see what you mean 👍

If you would stop taking a cooking cutter to every car you look at, then you would be a little bit happier with your results.

now lets see how agitated my team gets and next thing you know a war is going to break out....
as for those launches you guys do, i find them sorta sad. i mean you need your second gear to bog out a bit to do it... and also most people have no idea how to do it besides tds it seems. note that i said most, and im glad with help i figured it out, otherwise we would be sitting in the dark and your times would go on unmatched do to this style of launch. now all i can say, expect competition from us on the leaderboards for sure.

i don't want you to post this times but i figure to show it here since is a 1/4 time reference to ALL cars regardless of hp.
top time is with skid recovery force, button is without skid recovery force, mind you i didn't use full horse power.
now for all of those players that have this car can't stop guess or claiming some crazy times. i also wanted to say that the civic on reverse will top at 119mph and can beat anything above 10s flat. btw did them today a few minutes ago with a ds3 controller
