Today I was dealing with one of those, we were having an enzo comp and I treed the daylights out of the guy then he pulled on me and got me by a whole car and a half. He refused to admit it was hacked and my enzo runs 9.003 so even the fastest one cant beat me by that much with an even tree. Getting so tired of all the hacks too..it's all people want to use and or talk about now.

Easy fix. Just cap the bhp an pp to the cars that your using in the lobby
 
I hope PD patches that hp hack, or maybe they'll patch it the next gen gran Turismo which I hope it's not for ps3.

Remember waiting 4 years for gt5 after ps3 was released ? ( forget that POS prologue) If they release gt6 for ps3 I know damned well we'll be waiting years for gt7 on ps4. If that's the case I'm tapping out completely.
 
Best way to deal with this hacking situation is to create a room for your self and your buddys and restrict every little bit of it.

No really because some cars can have just like 10hp more and you wont even tell!! This hack crap killed this game...now we can only race people that we can trust...this is so dum....:grumpy:

Rooms are just getting empty and more empty and just R.I.P.
 
Yeah, you have to run all the same car and set limit for each car to exact legit max hp, but its good for tournaments, a pain for open lobbies.

I'm sure a room of us gtp'ers would be all good, pretty much everyone here and on the big teams is trustworthy enough, besides we all run so close that the added pull of 10 hp more it would probably be noticed right away. At least in the cars where everyone is within .010 of each other.

Last night I was in a random room, that everyone thought my cars was hacked because I tree them so hard and my tunes are much better than theirs . So it's not even fun anymore worrying about If their car is hacked.
 
Ha, yeah, all the fast guys are going to be accused now by slower guys. Think I'll be sandbagging for a while in an unfamiliar room until I get a feel for it and the guys in it.

Yeah. mazda should just put it on hiatus. no more times posted until PD patches all this mess That wouldnt stop someone from getting pictures now and posting them later. But I have faith someone wouldnt try to cheat like that

Yup 👍 did that a few times today alone. also do it for people who swear they arent running a hybrid....Its a decent way to weed out diet hybrids too if the model hp falls on an opportune number.

Some news for when Mazda gets back... As much I hate for this to happen but there are some slightly modified hybrids now dragging online. And how can we police this if they just put crap tunes on them and get record times or .002 off record to make themselves seem hidden? Are we gonna start doing video submissions because they are out there and people will do this... 👎 I want them patched already.

We know who the fast people are and who the fast people aren't. So if some random where to post a time that is .002 faster we would know by running them online, they would have a bad launch and pull at the end.

This is failed logic if you ask me

Where did retromaniax come from? or dream00? smokenrubber? karo... these are all people who came out of randomness with some seriously good times. You are effectively saying its ok to accuse someone of cheating and alienate them off of the boards just because they beat some records. Which is definitely not cool.

And running them online would prove nothing IMO. We all know how inconsistent online racing is.

Granted it would be highly suspicious for this to happen given this whole Hybrid situation (which is unprecedented) but the fact remains, the only logical thing to do is lockdown the boards until all this has blown over. Which may take a few months. But it'd be worth it
