I think McElrea running the car would've played a major role in him racing in this Porsche rather than the Walkinshaw car (McElrea was his Carrera Cup Aus team).

In any case, that is another strong contender for Porsche and for Pole position.

Oof!

Experienced BMW factory driver Jorg Muller has been named among Walkenhorst Motorsport’s Bathurst 12 Hour driver line-up.

The German operation will field one of four BMW M6 GT3s set to tackle the February 3-5 Mount Panorama Classic.

Muller will be joined in the squad by young Brit Ricky Collard, son of British Touring Car Championship star Rob Collard, and newly crowned Porsche Carrera Cup Asia champion Nico Menzel.

All three drivers in the #99 M6 GT3 will be making their Mount Panorama debut next week.

The trailer, man.👍

This will be thee race of the year. Not only the Southern Hemisphere, but of 2017. I'm now feeling it dosnt need another go around the clock. 12 hours gives us everything. Sure, I would love a 24H, but 12 is right.

I didn't think it would be possible to produce a BMW livery worse than the legends car.

How wrong was I

Edit: I'll be interested to see who's the fastest of all the BMW drivers.
Might look better in the metal. Good thing it doesn't have yellow or green BBS.

I can't call which car will be the fastest, but Skaife, Ingall and especially Longhurst, might struggle to keep up. That car needs to pick a contender and aim for that. Maybe lower top 25 or 30. I'll be surprised if they're anywhere near top 15.

Yeah. Especially with that AMG Customer double strip at the bottom. The ssMedia guy isn't that creative. I'd have gone Alpine white with green and yellow accents.

Power and comfort
I suppose that depends on how old your truck is.
The current FM has up to 500bhp & more importantly, 2500Nm.

Admittedly, the one I drove 10 odd years ago was in Heavy Rigid configuration & it lacked for nothing.
