I don't know it takes time to upload, but my achievement progress of the "like photos" is not advancing, stuck at 0 though I should have got already 15-20...

Despite the wording of the achievement, you get progress for liking anyone’s photos. Even your own!

Same with liveries

That's kind of you to call it a "misspelling"! :lol:

I suspect that it's a bug due to miscommunication, rather than poor documentation. The wording in the game makes FAR more sense than the implementation.

In my opinion, it's an "achievement" to encourage others to "like" my photos and livery. Any idiot can blindly sit there "liking" for the sake of scoring a "like count", but that distorts the "like" statistics.
 
I'm not sure if anyone posted this already but I haven't seen it yet (sorry if someone did :P).

Online library seems to be broken, can only find content that's less than a day old. So everything you share (scapes, liveries, race photos) just gets lost after that 1 day apparently, you won't be able to find it with the tags after that. Hope they fix this quickly, kind of defeats the purpose of sharing content if it's only there for a day. There's also no way the Trending and Most popular pages will ever change with it behaving like this. Just a quick example, search for #redbull tag in car liveries, you won't be able to find the one that's #1 in trending right now. Or just try to find any of your own that are older than a day, they won't be found. ;)

For some reason Replays don't have this issue, they're all still there, even from the open beta.

Perhaps there's a certain limit on their servers, once it exceeds that it can't be found anymore. But that'd be a bit silly, especially once the import tool goes live. There will be a lot of decals shared every few seconds and obviously it would be nice if you could keep finding the decals you want.

The exact wording is unambiguous. However, you are quite correct

"You can earn achievement bonuses based on the number of likes your photos are given."

"You can earn achievement bonuses based on the number of likes your livery is given."

(Bold emphasis is mine)

I just did these tests.

I liked one of my own photos, and my "likes on photos" count went +1

I liked one of somebody else's photos, and again, my count went +1

I liked one of someone else's livery and my "Likes on Liveries" score went +1​

Easy money, I'm thinking. I was trying to be really compellingly artistic to get rewards from these achievements. Turns out I can earn achievements by liking any old crap

The wording is what confused me at first too but I hadn't taken any pictures, and after checking out other peoples scapes, and "liking" them, I came back to an unlocked achievement. 👍
 
This might have been posted already. When I want to view a replay whether it’s an online replay or offline, it will crash, happened twice today. Does this happen to anyone else?
 
  • Replays of "lobby" or "room" online events show driver names and positions above the cars with no way of turning them off. If I remember correctly, this was a bug in GT6 for a while and they fixed it.
  • Also, on replays, when in some views, the blue guides next to cones are showing. Again, I haven't found a way to turn them off.
  • Camera settings are forgotten from one camera usage to another, even in the one replay. GT6 did this better.
  • Slowest shutter speed can't be put below 1/60th second when in replays. The Scapes camera can go right down to one second, paradoxically providing a wider scope for motion blur in Scapes than in an actual race where the cars are really moving.
  • If a replay runs to completion while you're entering text for sharing, it crashes GTS. The workaround is to pause the replay while sharing it. Despite the crash, the replay does get saved, so it's not a data loss situation.
 
I noticed that the option for disabling the ghost does not work, this in driving licence and in Time trial .

I don't think this is a bug. It was like this since GT5. In-race photomode 1/60s and Photo Locations 1/1s
 
Don't know if a bug, or intended or just too light FFB setting (1/1 even after update, not like the rattling on understeer, want to preserve my wheel as I have to use it for rFactor 2 international online champs, would be bad if it breaks middle of an endurance race), but the Nissan GT-R GT3 Schulze Motorsport on the Interlagos Track Experience felt somehow to have a "reversed" FFB.
 
I was watching a live stream of GTS last night and noticed that if you try to launch a second race with a different track you either get a black screen or the game crashes... either way you have to set up another lobby
 
The "number of connections" achievement is bugged for me. I'm now at 8 connections so I should have got a reward at 7 connections. But I did not get the reward and the main screen still tell me that I'm close to have this achievement (while obviously I'm past it).
 
Hello everyone, I have a bug with my steering wheel and my game (Thrustmaster T300 RS). On some occasions, my wheel will pause while I'm in an offline or online race, and it's happened at least 10 times now.

If anyone has a solution to this, I'd appreciate the feedback, because I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing the issue or not. Thanks.

I assume this is "Days Logged On"? But yes--same. I'm now at 9, so past the first award (7), and while I see the ribbon, I never received the actual award itself. Now it persists in the lower right. Very annoying.
 
Currently on day 8 of logging in yet my 7 day log in achievement is showing as almost complete in news feed... Checked the achievement and it is showing as 8 days (second achievement bar is showing as starting to fill in) but not giving the reward.
 
At Archievements... Number of Logins does not give me the Bonus for level 1. (7 days) i am at day 8... Inner circle is full an flashes... second circle started. and it says you nearly completed this archievement.

My driving school progress is not being saved.

I’m going through them (trying to get all gold). I made it to the 4th prize car (gold) after so many attempts. So I manually saved and closed the program.

When I came back the next day, I was two steps back from that 4th prize car. It said that I only completed up to silver, but when I looed at my best time - the gold time is registered?!?

Second time that this has happened. Very frustrating, especially having to repeat the harder lessons again.

I keep getting kicked out of the Gr. 3 daily race when it comes time for matching. I don't even get an error message, I just get sent straight back to the Sport menu.

Do you able to do other races? I ever get that once (being kicked) but thats because my internet is not stable at that time...now i can race again 3 of them and in the lobby


So alot of us get this login achievement bug...is there anyone who didnt get this bug? Hope polyphony aware of this now because its abit annoying to unable claim the achievement and its stay on the lower right saying its almost completed
 
Has anyone else had an issue where they're browsing their activity feed and the cursor brings them down several pages? Browsing my feed at the top, after viewing a photo or livery, then going back to the activity feed and moving one step will make you skip downwards several pages. So you have to scroll back up. Seems to only happen after viewing an activity....

I can do the Gr. 4 race. I got disconnected when matching for the N200 race, but it gave me an error message that time.
