Hi All, I'm 55. Was late to gaming and Gran Turismo so only played since GT4.

Only buy a Playstation for Gran Turismo so its great to see GTS on PS4 at last.

Very pleased too that PD took a quality over quantity approach too - this polished game should be a great base to build on hopefully.

It began with pong then space invaders. My first racing game was ridge racer I think. Its all a blur.

Brought the original Gran Turismo brand new, when I was on holiday along with the original Dual Shock pad.

It introduced me to road cars and tuning whereas before, I only knew Formula 1 and Arcade racers. Started a life long love affair with motorsport, cars and Gran Turismo.

Like many here, been playing games all my life and an avid fan of GT since the first. Registered here in March '02 it looks like.

I briefly mentioned it elsewhere but GT1 and 2 were wonderful sources of knowledge for my young, sponge of a brain, and as the totally cliched story goes, I own an R32 GTR in the United States very likely because of these games (and Best Motoring). Of course, had to wait 18 years or whatever for it to be legal, plus it took almost a year to get the car shipped from Japan and all the paperwork done but I did it. I'll tell you what.. Having a car in your garage for 3 months but isn't legal to drive.. /sigh

That's pretty good going and makes me feel old since quite a few of us here have literally been playing Gran Turismo since before you were born!

I'm 38. Been playing racing games since the Commodore 64 days, GT since the first version, and all the main versions of it up to Sport. I've also held an MSA race licence since 2006 so, even though I don't get to use it all that much, I reckon I can probably throw in an "above-average" claim!

53 here, got PS4 2 years ago and prior had been many many years since having a game system. Like many previous stated, was quite (pleasantly) surprised by the poll results. GT Sport is 1st version for me as of 2 days ago. Have played PCars 1 then 2 since release. Collection should be complete now with Dirt Rally and F1 17 that should keep me busy for a while.

47. been playing video games since the atari2600 and apple 2+. been at gt since gt1. still have it somewhere. only play a few titles gt,gta, madden, used to play tiger woods golf, red dead, and some free download games. mainly just gt and gta though. dont think it will stop till i croak.

edit: and before the atari and apple, we had a table top pong game my uncle (god rest his soul) gave me and my younger brother when i was like 6. that did me in on video games. the rest is history. have every copy of gt, even the japan versions. im in america. my ps1 is modded. my ps2 was also, but i gave it to my kid. my 2 ps3s are stock as is my ps4. interesting thread.

Two tracks only if i remember on the first game,trying to get a decent time around silverstone with a joystick designed for the flight sims of the time!lol On a slighltly different note,Stunt Car Racer was also a blast.
