Another person is running the room so you need to send a fr to him pepper_mallard i cant add you to the party due to your privcy settings
 
Sorry I missed last night. 3 hours at the DMV. Four year tags and a new license was $325 (or so). I was a year expired. Went for a COVID shot, didn’t feel like waiting around so that didn’t happen. Partied til bed time.

Nice to see some new names!

Saturday Geezer Races
8:30 AM ET (Qualify for the first race start @ 8:50) - (PS1)

Cars:

Gr.2 - One Make 2008 cars only - (100x100) - Tires: RM - No Tune
Gr.3 - One Make or BoP - (100x100) - Tires: RM - No Tune
Gr.4 - One Make or BoP - (100x100) - Tires: RH - No Tune
N400 - One Make - (100x100) - Tires: SS/SM - Tune or Not

Race and Track conditions:
Weather: Sunny and Clear Day
Laps: 5 to 9 depending on track length
Grid: Stand start
Tire: consumption during race will be set @ 4x for all cars
Fuel: consumption during race will be set at 60 liters and 5x for all cars
Qualify: 5 minutes, no fuel or tire consumption, grid set by best lap for the 1st race. Then, grid based on last race results.
Penalty System: off
Boost: ON Strong
Slipstream: ON Real

First Race/Qualify

Gr3 McLaren F1 BMW @ Le Mans (no tune)

4th place chose next combo (car n track)

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

PS1 - By 8:50 we will start a qualification time to set the grid for the first race, then the grid order as above. If you are not on the lobby by 8:50 you will only race on the second race. Even though we don't leave geezers behind, during qualify DO NOT exit your car or you will be out of the first race (game policies) .

We have Saturaday and Sunday both room open 830 AM ET ( Start by 9) and end around 12:00 AM, we race about 10 sprint races. If you have a headset, its highly recomended to join the party, as we are all comunicating with each other and it also makes the operation easier.

Hey Cory , I know your not interested in the daily races each week , but race C is GR 1. @ Autopolis . The TS050 is AWESOME. Maybe I can get your GF Amanda to make you try it or take your BB gun away until you do. :lol::cheers:

I'm done watching YT movies so about to head there myself. GR1 is like a magnet,, I just gotta go try!

I did 5 laps in the Toyota then 5 in the Porsche. Little faster in the Porsche. I lost interest quickly in both. Time trials have become second from the bottom for me. Bottom is pictures. Good job on that time though.
 
Have you fellas heard of 'Foxes and Fossils' ? They're a cover band that started back in the early 2000's with a Dad - Tim Purcell - overhearing his daughter (the blond girl is Samantha) and her girlfriend Maggie singing in the pool. The girls were buddys since early grade school days and Dad was a novice musician. Upon hearing how well the girls harmonized even though they had zero musical experience, he nonetheless had an idea and a group was borne. Dad does all the arranging and production in his home studio. The group changed many times over the years finally assembling the group we see now a few years back. Listen to this early days recording when they were singing anywhere people would let them. The girls were still in high school. The second is their latest cover. The girls are now grown, out of college, not quite the same Foxes they once were and I think one is married with young'ns. The musicians are now very gray and for certain Fossils but they can still play and the girls can still harmonize even better. Gentlemen, the Foxes and Fossils (F&F).
