We can easily guess the sales. Cheap japanese cars will obbiously have a lot of sales while 20M unicorns will have very low compares to them.

Also I got my supra from the daily lottery.

Yeah its not big deal buying a ZL1 or most of the std. US JP fleet since no one cares about $80.000 - when it comes to cars in the $1 mil. plus class... like the 365gtb you gotta think... but even then is $1mil a big deal?

I also think many people would have been disappointed with the BMW Supra day one given the funny handling. Its since been fixed to a degree that its now very competitive.

By this point the DWG would be giving supras to everyone.

I was just gifted one today and bought one straight after to take pics. I previously bought one for the Supra Cup(my avatar). Then, sold it. Bought one in each color and sold them.

Wonder if numbers are inflated with the MAnufacturers choices. I know Kaz says "sold", but we can also "Sell" any car but the PS Store cars(they can be deleted).

Stiil, with Porsche now in the game, have "their" sales spiked? Ferrari? Nissan? I guess many brands will spike when something like the MAzda Roadster TC debuted or the 930T.

Did the Mitsubishi GTO help sales or keep the brand where it is(if only we had a table of what brand is where on a sales chart)?

Would be interesting to find out which cars are the sales leaders, total car sales, leading brands, brand satisfaction, etc.

PD will know. No-one else possibly can.

Well I would say there's many like me... when a new DLC comes out I pick and choose what I want to buy.

Like the last JDM pack I just bought everything. Obviously as people say, the more expensive the car the less likely its going to be an instant "no wait no regret buy".

I have some cars that I never got in a DWG... eg. so far no 365gtb or the Dino. Its up to you to either chance never getting that one car or just spending the money that in many cases, is super easy to come by.

This could be a silly question but what if you've purchased the car while being offline and you've avoided online for several months by not connecting to the internet during the period, will that be recorded somehow?:lol:

Doesn't Brand Central fade out when we're offline/not connected to the server?

Ah so the game needs to be connected online before the cars could be purchased? I thought it works the same way like the older GT titles but it seems I was wrong.

The original tweet is just marketing fluff for Toyota, as no-one should be surprised that players buy cheap cars that are new to the series and mandatory for certain events.

No way to measure brand satisfaction in game that i can think of.

That said, more statistics available can only be a good thing.

Similar to the deal with players helping the Supra perform better. Players weren't satisfied with the handling. Feedback, good & bad, was no doubt given by players(twitter, facebook, gtplanet)). We now see the Supra handles better than at debut. We've seen this in the past with the MR car's handling. Cockpit view could be a measure as well. I made a thread showing race car gauges. Which cars had the most usable info. I believe there is even a thread here, about cars that are hard to cover with decals. Some things are subjective(many don't use cockpit, many don't change liveries). It's just guesses.

Lately, the Gran Turismo page has been posting asking to show favorite cars. I have no proof and only suspecting, maybe PD are gathering info from how players respond. Maybe info gathered from car usage in GT League, Livery Editor, what cars&brands individual players take the most Scapes with. I don't know.

If you cut the internet while in brand central screen you can buy one car offline. When you connect to internet again game will save it to online. If you close the game before connecting to internet car will gone.

Assuming there was feedback considered is a moot point because the idea that players help Toyota is marketing fluff, despite what they say. Vehicle companies don't make decisions on handling based on video games.

Thinking about this more, the favourite car should either work by in game voting feature similar to Discover (not preferable as they have bigger issues) or by ranking by time spent driving each car. The data has to come from the game.

I am personally responsible for seven sales of the Evo IV.

I'm responsible for at least 40÷50 Suzuki Swift (the bonus for 100 cars buy ...)
..at the time it was the cheapest car in GTSport .. :D

IR

I’d like to know which cars have been sold/deleted from garage the most.

Sport Mode forcing people to use certain cars will skew any purchase figures.

I'm sure many have done the same with the GR Yaris: Happily bought it, attempted the TT, tried to do a couple tarmac races and spun out. Parking it straight after. ;)

I'd like to see the sales numbers for that car.

I'd still like to see the sales numbers for the MX-5. It was said during the RX-VISION sketch reveal, that is the most purchased car.
