I love Sean Bull's liveries! So I tried to replicate his Honda Civic Coupe used in the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship.

Did anyone make a livery with the decal that has been taken down (Martini)? I am interested to know what happens, if it removes the decal from a paint or the whole livery!

Only the decal is removed. The livery is loaded with a message that some decals could not be loaded, but the rest of the livery stays intact.

Thank you! :)

I've been working on new cars this weekend: Scirocco Repsol, Civic Lucky Strike, Megane Hp, Porsche nVidia and Ferrari 458 Marlboro.

I've been also reworking on my Alonso's 2006 Renault tribute adding new logos and making some changes.

Hope you like it!

It would make sense that "mature brands" are forbidden, as this game has a PEGI 3 rating.

On a related note, while they're not expressly forbidden in Forza titles, you have absolutely zero chance of getting your design featured (by winning the official livery contests) if you submit a design with one of these logos present.

For what it's worth, I like the reporting system used in GT Sport. In Forza you simply press [Report] and that's it, but here you can specify the reason for why you're reporting a design, you get a notification from Sony that it's been submitted, and another notification that the report has been dealt with. That's good customer service.

I didn't know that but, as PJTierney says, it would make sense as game has PEGI 3 rating.

I just checked in the game and the ones I used are still there. Maybe they only remove the reported logos.

So far I have done a few livery's with gtplanet logos, a Porsche repica (#27) . Can't upload them here of some reason so check them in at my page in gts or search in photos + livery.
Search: gtplanet

To those using uploaded decals of real companies, especially tobacco and alcohol, and given the recent Martini decal ban, I suggest anyone who has painstakingly made custom logos using x amount of decals: if possible, instead of deleting all your layers you should cover the custom logo with a layer on top of it, the same color of the car, and then put the uploaded decal on top of that. That way if your decal gets banned you will at least still have your custom-made version below and only have to delete the covering layer to uncover it again.

I know this is not possible where logos are integrated with the paint scheme or surrounded by complex paint schemes, but for those able to do this on their liveries you might save yourself a lot of time in the future if a decal is banned and you have to resort to your custom multi-layer solution.

Since i grew up watching those cars I had to do one

I'm currently having an hard time saving my custom livery, if i click on "save" it saves it only as a project and doesn't let me use it or upload it. Can anyone give me directions on this issue?

Had the same problem today with the Jägermeister, it showed it only for friends then I deleted my post and even the livery was gone in my gallery. I was lucky I still had it in the editor! Don't know why this happened

That's even more strange because my livery had little to none of "bannable" content (no tobacco or alcohol)

Upload problems are a sign the server is unstable, I think, it’s been solid for me for a week or so, but it had an outage earlier today.

I suspect the Martini logo is removed due to a copyright complaint, lots of other booze related logos are still available...

Other stuff that has been removed was of an adult nature.

Interesting. Not sure what it says on the ratings and warnings in Europe, but the ESRB rating has it as E with "Use of Alcohol" and "Use of Tobacco" listed on the back.

Now THAT is interesting. Maybe it's just Martini wanting some cash or something.

Meanwhile, this is something I've been fooling around with. Didn't make the logos, obviously, they belong to the uploaders. 👍

Now if only we can get Ed Carpenter to use some aesthetics....

Guys you have to remember the age rating and the fact that tobacco and alcohol advertising is kinda illegal in a few countries, remember, Ferrari got into trouble for having "Marlboro" in barcode on the side of their F1 cars in 2008/2009.

I'd suggest looking at how teams used to mask sponsor names, sometimes the masking does look better, prime example: "Buzzin' Hornets", McLaren using black stripes in 1994-1996, Prost using "?", Williams using "Racing", etc.

Would it be a idea to cut the brands in multiple decals? So Martini would become 2 shapes (Mart ini). That way we could combine them in the editor?

Has anybody else had an issue with retrieving decals from a favourites folder? I can add etc but when retrieving the wrong decal gets applied and they all retrieve the same wrong decal?

I wouldn't risk it, it's entirely possible that they might have some form of visual recognition system.
