Thank you for your work.

Unfortunately the final decal appears very murky, fuzzy and low quality for some reason. The "2014 Edition" seems muddy on my computer and there seems to be a couple of random black dots on the decal. One in the M of remastered and one floating to the right of the H in rocksmith.

Not sure how it looks in GTS at the moment.

Oops, sorry about that one. I'll have another look tomorrow if I get the opportunity.

I've got a few requests here. As usual I would like the files to upload myself to avoid cluttering artists profiles and so they don't get deleted on me. As usual, I will be sure to give credit where it is due :)

Looking for the text and heart logo as one file

I posted this in my topic about KG design logos but putting it here should get more eyes on it. As usual I will upload :) For the second one can it be made bigger without it getting blurry?

The default size can't be bigger the default square's size. Roughly 500mm in-game.

(I couldn't test it. Let me know if there are any problems with it.)

Anyone willing to try this? I've gotten each layer down to 25kb but thats as far as i can get without getting them distorted . The file I am attaching has the OG picture and the Bitmap.

Well, there's an easy fix for that:

2rhnuch.jpg

Em, do you need the new panel and logos?

Thx man, I'll try that out. I did a little modification on the separated panel I posted, the three black stripes are a bit longer than on the original one. But I'll try this out.

Yes, I noticed. Let me know if you need the new panel.
This came out pretty nicely. I had to modify the panel, because I didn't wanted to stretch the letters. The MMC diamonds didn't show up on the panel, but I think it looks a bit cleaner without it. There is some issues on the panel modification I did if looked very closely, the additional lines I made did fit 99%, but new panel without MMC letters would sort that out.

New separated panel and letters would fix my minor modyfication issues. There's no hurry to get it, and I would be super thankful for it.

For now it looks like that :)

The idea of this livery comes from a great movie I saw many years ago, the Cannonball Run 2. It feature a beautiful MMC Starion. It is packed with a lot special abilities, for example it can be submarine, has afterburner, can be "invisible" and some more, just check it out.

I'm teaching myself how to do these (curves/svg etc) but I must ask, how on earth do you get so much detail in such little file size?
On the Bon Jovi I only did one wing and cloned it with a flip . With the Aldean Army I only did half the black background with a clone and flip, drew about 10 specs in a group for the splash effect and cloned that about 10 times. You can still resize rotate and skew the clones but it will keep the colors and gradients from the original.
The savings will depend on the original number of nodes and the number of clones. If I cloned the letter A twice it actually would make the file bigger I think when first playing with it I found about 6 clones of a letter before it saves room.

I'm still such a noob!

I've tried but failed miserably by a factor of....lots.

Can any of you gosh darn handsome talented bods do this for me?

Even if it's in built up svgs.

Would love yi forever.

Cheers
Sid
The way svgs are made you will never get a small file that would match all the detail of this picture. By using simpler shapes and adding some gradients I have just gone for more of the look rather than to try and make a full reproduction.

Em, I took the liberty of modifying the panel based on this image:
I hope you don't mind.

If you only scale the panel it will get a bit blurry, em, have you considered something like this?

I can't thank you enough my friend, it looks the biz. When I do a decent livery with it I will let you see it & give you credit for the decal. Once again thank you so much.👍

Good job! I did have a stab at this but I couldn't get it under 15 decals, which is outside of what I'd normally bother uploading for a request - and it wouldn't have looked as good as yours anyway.

Hi again

I see this all coming now. I did a little modyfication on the panel. I think it's best to keep the panel in one piece. I simply have trouble trying to fit the two panel piece together, those fine lines on the lower part of it always have some fitting issues.
I extended the panel that is close to the MMC diamond, and did make it one piece.

So here is the final one. I wanna thank you for all the help and time you have spend, to make this panel idea of mine finally come true. Now just hope PD will ad the Starion in near future :).

Yeah things like this don't scan very well and are hard to get the file size down.
I find the best method is to trace the entire thing by hand, trying to use the least amount of nodes possible. It is however a slow process .
Here ya go with and without background.

Would someone be so kind and create a Marlboro livery (example below) for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage S 2015 for me please?
I don’t have the skill.

Fantastic! Thank you!. I am slowly learning Inkscape and have yet to comprehend tracing, I have tried and it ends up a mess. I did end up finding one that wasn't so detailed/ scanned it and just used the black layer and " filled in' the other colors..but looks like crap, was good enough for me but wasn't going to upload it..this however is great! here was my sad attempt..lol
camel gt.jpg
PS.. I have them in game now, do you plan on posting them or should I just tag you and share them? Sorry I haven't got a clue.

Any decals I do here can be shared, I actually encourage people to do so. Credit can be given to Gt Planet as I didn't know what a SVG was until GT Sport came out and I started in these forums.

I see, I will update the panel and center the Mitsubishi logo.
Would you mind using this ruler to measure the height of the decal?
Em, your preferred height. I'd ask you via PM but I can't use the Conversation system yet, apparently I need some more public posts.

2gv39yw.jpg

Your precision and perfectness are very high. On these photos you posted, I think this is ideal scale for the panel. My only worries are the MMC diamond, I think the rear door line shouldn't cut the diamond. So if you could then just move the diamond a little towards the MMC letters, it would be perfect. For the long blue lines, I think it's best just keep them long enough, they'll just fade into the front wheel arch, and same for the part right to the diamond, just keep it long enough, I think it's really the MMC diamond that should be in priority for position.

I really appreciate the time you're spending on this for me.

Explanation picture. Diamond moved towards the letters, and a little bit down also, to be in the same hight as the line under the MMC letters.

Okay, here is what I hope is the final version of it:
1. Upscale until it is 15cm.
37wqa.jpg

2. Align the reference point and the reference line of the car.
dw2jxi.jpg

3. Move and rotate to match the reference points.
6hmk61.jpg

4. Apply any color to hide the reference point.
2illk01.jpg

Or simply upscale the Simple version from wheel to wheel. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There are no limits to the conversation system. Your first posts got caught in the spam filters but there should be no issues now.
You are correct, I am able to use the conversation system since my 18th post.

This worked out perfectly. I want to thank you for the help, the top quality and precise work, really appreciated.
I think its look better to let the panel stop at the side vent as you did, not the wheel arch as I used to have it.

I just added the turbo decal, to mimic the black Starion from the Cannonball Run 2 movie.

Again, thanks a lot for the help.

The absolute madman.
I'm trying to trace my avatar by hand, I hope the final result looks almost as good as yours.
It's being a very slow process!
