Would I be better off doing a manual trace? I can't seem to get anywhere close to 15kb.
I know this is PNG but I'm on a different computer and don't have the SVG file saved to a cloud. I do have this as an SVG but the lowest I can get it is 84kb.
Any ideas?

Em, I'd recommend you to use Inkscape, as it is the one I use most of the time. Inkscape is Open Source, has friendly GUI and is easy to use.Good gif
But nonetheless take a look at the User Decals - A Tutorial On How To Make .SVG thread.

Yeah that could have been worded better. More of a... go to inkscape. I use Affinity Designer. The mrs uses it for work so I've taken to it pretty quickly considering i started using it a week or 2 ago and had no idea what a vector tool was or SVG file

I tried to install inksacpe on my mac osx, but there is some error and I can't open it. I have latest Quartz on my mac, which is required to open inkscape. Any other free, simple and good you would recommand?

My son and I just got back from the Ferrari Challenge at Watkins Glen and we were hoping someone out there could make my 9 year old sons day by helping us recreate the car we had a chance to work on while there.

The yellow logo is a little distorted as it is a picture on a curved surface. If you had a website for them with a nice flat logo I could do a neater one. The logo on the hats also seem to have an extra circle in the middle?

As random as it comes! We still cant believe it.
I got us General Admission Ferrari Challenge weekend (Fri-Sun) passes for his 9th birthday for $40 total and kids under 12 free. Nathan plays GTS too and really loves the livery editor. The Glen is just under 2 hours away so we figured what a deal and a no brainer.
We show up first thing Friday morningfor practices and qualifying and were literally the only ones there that early other than teams and families of the teams.
We start walking around the garage area (which apparently is really encouraged at this event, but we dont know this at this time and we were just waiting for security to kick us out because of no credentials) and all the teams, literally all the teams too, are saying hello us and showing off their cars.
Driver Brian Kaminskey's father, Steve, pretty sure team owner too, made the biggest deal out of my son, handed him a rag and some spray and had him start wiping down the car. Then introduced him to the crew chief Nathaniel and told him to give my son the tires so he could wipe off the brake dust off those too.
Before we knew it, my son had an official team hat on, a wrench in his hand and was following orders. I too had a rag and wrenches before long and I was often asked to get in to the drivers seat to hold down brake pedals, flip switches, and turn things on and off and wrench or hold whatever they asked. We only watched the cars on the track when his car went out.
At the end of Friday's practice/qualifying (around 6:30pm), the crew chief, straight faced and serious, literally looks at me straight in the eyes and says "can you guys be here tomorrow by 8:30"
And like just that, we were official (volunteer)Ferrari Challenge 488 Copa Shell Team Kaminskey team members for Ferrari of Long Island. We shared contact info and everything.
Memories we will never forget and the most amazing experience of any kind to share as a father and son.
And all because these guys took some spectators and put us to work!

Actually found this picture and the logo is a solid color.
So redid it to suit and also made a masked version if you use a special paint for the base .
It might be awhile before I can share them on the Ps4 but if @D-Max is going to help with the livery maybe he can upload them.
So here they are.
yeah I can do it if you really like. Do you have some good shots of the car to see some of the lines and sponsors etc? Obviously the in game version will be slightly different as its a 458 not 488 but it wont change too much
EDIT: I think I have all the info i need to make this. Let me know if you would like a hand with it. I'm actually working on a 458 art car at the moment but I don't mind helping out

I would love any and all assistance with missing decals and uploading them for us for sure if that's possible.
We are still at the track today and the races are beginning here in about an hour. Started P7 yesterday in race 1 and finished P6 (of 26 cars), lets see how we fair today. This class goes on around 4pm EST, 30 minute endurance style, quick sprint, but fun. Wish us luck!
They've got us doing stuff so I'm kind of in and out of this thread when I can be, but dont want to ignore you guys either because your assistance here is just as epic to this weekend! My kid is gonna lose his mind!
Here are the only decals that I see missing that I know I wouldnt have in my favorites or collection folders.

I feel like I'm asking for too much. I know these are a lot of decals, but if someone could do this, I would be very thankful.
I know some of them are low res, but they will work, as they will be used on small scale on the car. Only the japanese letters (top left) and Zent will be on big scale.

I can gladly do the work to make the livery with my son with the help of the couple decal uploads. Though likely not as talented as you, we enjoy the project part of it.
EDIT: I hope this reply doesnt read incorrectly through text. We are still at the track and I was rush typing while waiting for pace laps to start. (Finished P5 after starting P6)
I would absolutely love it if some of the talented people here tackled this project for us. That would be amazing!
What I was trying to say is that we would love to also have the "missing" decals uploaded so we could try our hand at making our own as well. Especially if you can make official decals and fonts and stuff like that.

UPDATE: @D-Max @Maninashed @ArtificialSky I stopped for dinner and now that I have a moment to see what you have already done, I totally misunderstood the "upload myself" part.
I was able to download the files and unzip them and upload them to GT site. I feel silly. I thought I still had to do something with the svg files or something when I was reading it before.
Now that I have moment to myself and can focus, I see you've done all the heavy lifting for me. Thank you.
So for uploading, if the missing decals can be posted here like @Maninashed did earlier in zip files, I'd be more than happy to upload myself.

I worked on a Ferrari Challenge decal pack but never really released it due to minor details and time. I still have the official numbers and sizes.
This is the official number plate (unoptimized), do you want a different number for your son? 171 & 172?

I believe with the files I uploaded a moment ago, the remaining decals would be:
REAR: the yellow class plate and mma sponsor sticker
WING: screw plate setting sticker and St Jude sponsor
The rest of the sponsors I am confident I already have and the rest of the car is the florescent yellow pinstriping which can be replicated within shapes decals within the game.....(unless you have advice on that or an easier way).

171 number is perfectly fine. 172 is the actually the red O'Donnell car who we met this weekend as well. Their garage was across from us this weekend. Cool people on their team as well.
