GT Sport SVG request thread (Please read 1st post)

Really too much text for a single decal. The smallest text with "inspired by Passion - Driven by Innovation" was over 1000 nodes. Replaced that with font and simplified each letter individually then recombined (now 461 nodes). Redid the gradients as such heavy reduction with SVGOMG messes them up a little anyway.
Got it in one with board3 file (SVGOMG level 1) .Including files board and board2 for a bit higher precision with 2 decals (use duplicate and replace for alignment).

Anything that takes hours to do and requires to be split up into many sections is too complicated when you are relying on the goodwill of svg creators.

oh I meant teaming on the MR2, the shark one is just WIP on what I’m currently doing, should’ve spoilered it.

I’d do it all if it wasn’t for being busy with other decals, hence why I chose the ‘easy’ bit. None of that is hard, the watch on the other hand, was an intricate piece. Not hard either, but like you said, it was time consuming. I reckon that MR2 decal wouldn’t take too many sections. I’ve done designs requiring splitting up into 20 so this here is easy as pie.

not as good quality as I’d like, I am working on a more realistic one. Since I can’t do gradients I rely on getting enough different colors to make it better. And the hood isn’t even the most detailed part of the livery. The license plate is. The tiny little area sticker. I love making intricate decals from scratch. This here MR2 is not anywhere near being hard to make.

Still not a valid reason to not allow someone to post a request that might require more than just ‘auto vectoring’ something. If someone (like me) likes to spend hours on a decal by hand then why not. If noone wants to, sure said person shouldn’t nag.

Hello!

So I'm back with my ultimate request now that @syntex123 is back on the scene! I had a very nice suggestion made from @ringkurier to ask this again and see if anyone would help!

It is my dearest wish to have this particular image of Kaname Chidori from Full Metal Panic as a decal in GT Sport, I do always appreciate that your all very busy with all the request, I've waited this long so I don't mind waiting and layered is fine so long as there's an outline template so I can snap the pieces together quickly!

Should a bigger version of the image be required I am sure I can find one! I was hoping I might be able to enter her for my new competition entry but can save her for next time!

P.S I know you all don't like the anime decal requests but this is the only one I have left for these!

that one shouldn’t be a problem. Should it need to be in pieces I’ll do it easier for you to allign them, just duplicate and replace. That’s how I do most my multi-pieces. I’ll see if I have time later.

@darth_tails the image you provided was super low res, and the one I found online was weird. I'm not sure I "feel" this one if you know what I mean. I require a sense of.. motivation to do decals. And this one doesn't do it for me right now. Maybe it is because anime isn't my cup of tea? I've worked with worse resolution than this before. I'll let you know if I find motivation to do it. 👍

OK no worries, I only noticed the lo-res aspect of it after I put the request up again last night.

It might be! My workplace block that image site because it's entertainment category but looking at the thumbnail in Google it is different
from the one I had.

Well I think I might know why the "odd" cutout effect happened, now I think about it they have probably cut Kaname out of the background of the TV series episode where she does this pose rather than redraw her, it would certainly explain why the one I have is lo-res quality.
