GT Sport SVG request thread (Please read 1st post)

This was available as a vector file in .ai format from Seeklogo. These can be opened in Inkscape. It was 1299 nodes. With all the paths combined and running it through SVGOMG at precision zero it's a bit messy but under 15kb. Part of a chain link seems to be missing, even in the original.
As there is a lot of scratchy detail on the hand and chain links it would be a real pain to try and trace. It would be a tough project to take on whilst trying to get better acquainted with Inkscape.

What can I say? Simply outstanding. Both in at 10.4 KB. Amazing mate.

If I had known you were going to do it I would have supplied a better source.

Good call on the scratchy detail that doesn't get missed. You did the Sex Pistols, God Save the Queen for me a long time ago & as I did then I'll do again, share it & give you credit for it.

I believe he uses Inkscape just like most of us, but the most important part is the time he is willing to spend creating them, and the considerable skill he employs in doing so.

The time part is the thing that most don't seem to understand. That decal was probably a good few hours of work. Folk seem to think that it's just a case of converting, and sometimes with the basic logos, it is. However, something like that shield would have to be traced by hand and basically recreated from a blank page.

I don't think some folk appreciate @Maninashed, and other decal creators, as much as they should and we are really lucky to have them.

I appreciate this is a wee bit of a rant but it is not aimed at you.

I highly appreciate you decal creators, you guys have made my playing incredibly fun. I really appreciate the time, effort and patience you put into your work. I am trying to learn how to do it myself, definitely will take some time to learn, I have a trash full of mistakes.
I make sure if I post a picture and it has even one decal that someone converted for me I make sure to give them credit. Again thank you a million times over.

Can one of you smarter-than-me folks make one or both of these logos? I picked up the NY Islanders one on etsy as a .svg but I could not get it down under the size limit. If some of the detail needs to be compromised, (the "chrome-y-ness" or other detail), that's fine. The last file is the .svg.

Hells Bells comrade. It wasn't my punky decal that sent you to the dark/wrong side was it?

Guessing that my happy/smiley friendly Che Guevara decal idea is a no go then?

Looks just fine to me! I was able to get it down to around 17.5kb, but lack the knowledge to reduce it further.
