I may be wrong here on this bit, but isn't it advertising a spec series featuring these cars? So in that case, they would indeed be sponsoring every ILX in the spec series. No?
That's my guess, that GT is the sponsor for that car or the spec series it's in. The GT logo looks like it was added to the screen as an afterthought. That picture has been in the press since early last year:

It looks like the GT logo was just copy/pasted to reflect the new sponsorship.

That does make more sense. I assumed it was just for the specific car on display, but thinking about it, if they were the title sponsor for a single car, it would be odd to not show the logo off more prominently.

Well, if Gran Turismo has paid the team X amount of dollars for sponsorship, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that they now have the license and authorization to include it in GT Sport?

Some modern racing games are paid to include certain cars.

Nope

And as @Johnnypenso rightly pointed out, GT sponsorship of a race series is not guaranteed to lead to the inclusion of those cars in game.

I explained that if all cars have this banner, it's because GT is the main sponsor of 24H Nurburgring :)

Again, I never say that these cars will be in games.

On official GT Facebook :

This car will be in Gran Turismo.

You know the 2nd generation Camaro, Mustang Transcammer, Oldsmobile Toronado, etc? Those are only available in tuner form, no stock which is kind of waste.

The stock car form of it are available in Standard cars currently. But i dont want standards and i hope the stock form is available in premium for the future GT.

There's a difference between sponsoring a race series and an individual car. Take the Schulze GTR for example. That's a specific car sponsored by GT, but the entire VLN/N24 it raced in is as well. Seems like individual cases may lead to a greater chance of being in game.

I agree with this. Seems like sponsorship on an individual basis may represent an agreement between GT and the manufacture. An entire event being sponsored by GT doesn't mean much to me. It would be like Monster Energy Drinks sponsoring an entire event...

That was posted over in the General Discussion thread yesterday, and as it's neither a trailer, screenshot, or video of GT Sport, I'm not sure why it's here too.
You are right, it's not a GT sport teaser, but it mentions "Sony", and it could be either DriveClub or GT sport, it feels more like driveclub, but you never know

What I do know is that it is a subject best suited to the other thread it is currently being discussed in.

I just rewatched the trailer and at this point you can see a LMP1 car racing with GT3 cars and a Vision GT car. I really hope this is just for the trailer and that there aren't races with a nonsense mix of classes like in the past.
Multi class races will be great if done properly.
That's a GT branded car(GT logo rear left). Looks like a Tomahawk VGT?

Could just be Polyphony creating a scene from the limited selection of cars they wanted to show off. Who's to say there aren't more current GT3 cars incoming to GTS, but just didn't want to show them off at this stage?

Obviously the cars aren't seriously racing each other, as the GT3 cars simply couldn't keep up with the prototypes for half a lap of the Nordschleife. It's probably intended to be an exhibition lap, like when Schumacher took an F1 car to the Nordschleife in 2013 or how Audi did the same with the R18 in 2014.

You are right but since it happened in the previous games I fear it will happen again! :nervous:

Maybe GT Sport AI are in the GT cars and GT6 AI in the R18 and VGT?

You could be right, but since PD is known for creating race events with just this kind of car mix, you can see why people would look at it with a little skepticism.
