Nah, too shiny and overblown bloom effects like it's an early 360 game. They should do a comparison with AC and PCars as well.
are you serious now my friend ?

you compare the graphics in a 960x540 resolution?

what are you trying to prove with all those negative comments about GTS without try it ?

the only guys that have right opinion about GTS is only the guys that they try it...

i can tell you that:
all those videos from youtube its look like crap compared to when you try the game....

for one more time sorry
about my bad English mate i think you understand me!!

"Your opinion is different from mine therefore it's a wrong opinion", there's been some negative feedback from people that tried it, so are they wrong as well? Get a grip. If you don't like my opinions, simply ignore my messages, problem solved.

Hi guys! HUGE HUGE difference compared to GT6. If you guys play Project Cars or have played Project Cars the game is quite similar.

Im very happy that this time around you cant just throw the car into a corner just like that as in GT6.

Graphic wise is highly noticeable crisp clear graphics from the grandstands to the trees.

Sound wise i think a big room for improvement is needed. Engine sounds like a vacuum cleaner as it always has been. Tire screeching under braking is well weird. Tire screeching whilst cornering has greatly improved you can hear the squeal of the tire if you are at the limit.

Drivablity wise youd really feel the suspension working in play specially when you brake and the car pitches to the front and whilst hugging a corner, taking ondulations, over crests etc. physics wise you will have a good experience driving it.

I however could not record videos or even get good photographs because of the sunlight. Il be back there Sunday to check if i coulf provide more photos to the community.

Hope you guys like my inside take on it.

PS
Lucas says hi to the entire community and we wish all competitors in GT Academy 2016 goodluck! We hope to see the selected best guys on the National Finals and at Race Camp. :)

Cheers! :)

It's interesting to see how opinions are divided on the sound engine.
I think everyone is pretty much saying the same thing. They are better but there is still a ton of work to do. The only thing different between people is the words they choose to say it.

I do not think many people take you seriously anyways. In regards to gfx too. GT5 had good AA. It was using 4xAA. But now going for advance lighting system they have ditched Multi Sampling AA. Most devs have done the same. I think MSAA technique is dead now. I again disagree with you regarding GT5 looking more realistic. Absolute BS.

GT6 also had better lighting than GT5, I know many still like to have MSAA but GT6 was better looking in terms of lighting. GTS looks far superior and realistic to GT5, GT6 or other games. It is obvious you are simply trolling as usual. Brands hatch video I think contrast, color is a bit too much. But the lighting and replays in GTS is a treat to eyes

The engine itself is broadly the same in that it's the same old sampler, what differs are the samples being used.

Some have been redone from the source recordings, it seems. Others have been swapped about a bit. But the fundamental flaw remains: no direct representation of your right foot's behaviour.

Which is to say that, although cars like the 458 finally have something resembling the all-important intake note, it does not respond in the correct way to throttle input. This is probably because it is still statically mixed with the "engine" note. They need a separate, third source, as well as a way to modulate the exhaust sound.

They had all of this with AES, but have chosen not to fully implement it yet.

Aren't you the same guy who just a few minutes ago was complaining about trolling?

It's not trolling lol. A stock GT-R doesn't sound good, so unless you record it with an aftermarket exhaust system, the recording for games will always sound bland and like a Vacuum Cleaner.

So, judging a sound from the game based solely on a GT-R, won't represent the game sounds as a whole.

In your opinion ....... of course.

Put it this way, the GT-R's sound is not a good representative of the sounds of supercars. In the game is exactly the same thing. You can't base your opinion of the sounds in a game based on a car that, in real life, sounds too bland compared to other cars in it's class. If you drive an F-Type, your experience will be completely different. IF he had driven an LFA and he could say the sound was bland like a vacuum cleaner, with no life at all, then it would be different because the real thing is full of life and complexity.

I think it has a certain robust and gruff quality to it. Obviously you have to listen through all that turbulent noise imposed by the flow restrictions arising from the acoustic legislation demanding it not let too much of the pressure waves escape the exhaust, and this is made worse with it being boosted. Not many people do such "active listening", I suppose.

But you're right. Too many people are used to the "amped up" sound of other games to be able to find "realistic" sounds palatable. That's where dynamic range and spatialisation come in, if you have the hardware...

Do all vacuum cleaners sound the same?
And yes, that's a troll comment that doesn't need your reply.

I know I'm out from this conversation, I hope you are too.

I know, those restrictions "kill" a lot of cars that could end up sounding really good.
But then again, taking into account those restrictions or not, the GT-R does not have a memorable sound. Its sound won't be stuck in your head, unlike the LFA or the LaFerrari. With that said, it's almost impossible to say that the in-game sound of that car is good, when the car in itself never sounded that good in first place. This is where comes my point, judge in-game sounds by driving a GT-R is not ideal in any way, shape or form. Yes, they could go the exhaggeration route, giving super loud sounds to every single car, but that wouldn't be accurate at all.

Clearly you didn't get the point and you didn't want to. The point was very simple, some cars don't sound that good in real life, so judging in game sounds from one of those cars, does not tell much about the overall engine sounds in-game.

Yes, not be DQ is really awkward...

If damage won't be a thing that make you don't want to hit the wall, the penaltys should do it.
