I'm amazed how good the controls are in this game with DS4, first time on a sim I don't feel frustrated playing with just a standard controller. Got the Hyundai Genesis Gr.3 as my gift car today, this is my first complete lap at the Nordschleife with that car. Surprised how well it went as I rarely drive on this track so don't know the corners that well and I'm a bit rubbish with the Gr.3 cars so it was a lot of driving in the unknown for me so quite a bit off the pace. The Genesis Gr.3 had much better drivability than the Aston Martin V12 Vantage so was a lot more enjoyable to drive, I used the stock setup.

Really, that's good news but GT has always been the best in terms of playbility with the controller and not sacrificing sim racing.
Now I will wait to see if Pcars 2 is MUCH improved from the original because if not then it stays in the self.

New personal record, for whatever reason not registered on the server.
It also feels much better with the TCS on 1. That eliminates the god awful sudden grip loss when accelerating, at least a bit.

Done a couple more races today at Dragon Trail, forgot to record them though :( But here's my faster laps at Dragon Trail in the Nissan GTR, 1.51.726, which nearly put me in the top 10, and at Nurb in the Alfa 4C with a 6.49.993.

Is that Interlagos?
Yes

Here's my footage of the two new tracks, both gameplay and replay:

I thought the naming conventions were interesting too, but I examined the track and didn't see any connecting/alternate variants/routes. That's not to say no others exist in the same location, but I don't think there'll be variations of this particular course.

I want that 650. Is the winning cars random in the beta?

I saw this video today:

Does anyone know anything about YellowFlag-situations and safetycars?

I think it can be fun to have safetycar-situations like in F1-games. (though they usually ruin my race).

I had a couple of races at the Nordschleife in the Danish BMW M6. I started 7th, and finished 6th, but was up in fourth at one point until I ran wide.

Watch out for the idiot in the SLS overtaking the 4C on the grass, taking him out, and then blocking all the way down the straight, and then the 4C takes him out at the final few corners.

My first attack yesterday night, GTS beta online:
*N class racing - Lancer Evolution Final Edition '15 at Willow Springs 0:00-09:06
*Gr.4 class racing - Nissan GT-R at Dragon Trail Seaside 09:07-33:03
*Gr.3 class racing - Jaguar F-type at Nordschleife 33:04-51:16

No big problems. The Nordschleife is very bumpy. Quite a challenge with the Jaguar.

Other than you, I don't see any indication that anyone is aware there is an SR rating in effect:lol:

I fail to see how you can get past anyone cleanly at the Nordschliefe (without at least some co-operation from the car in front.) It's too twisty and narrow, for the most part, so my tactic is to sit behind someone making faces at them in the hope they'll crash. It usually works...

Same here, though apart from your tactic, the only other way to find a way past your opponents on the Nordschleife is on the Döttinger Höhe (the long straight). Did just that a few days ago to gain P1, but the guy I passed politely smashed me out of the way at the penultimate corner.

So, I have to ask again, I'm seeing a lot of people controlling the replays, to be more precise, the camera in replays, and I can't do that...
I can't switch to interior view and rotate the camera like I do during gameplay. How is that even possible?
I have a regular PS4.
