Anyone else getting this?

My very first time with GT Sport.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention that the first video is at 60fps (from a broadcast) while the second is 30fps (regular share).

Also, all aids were OFF in both videos (except ABS, which was on default).

Well in a discussion on an open forum in the free world I can say what I like, within legal reason. Freedom is a lovely thing.

Also, my point was relevant, and still stands - DC has great trees and lots of other great stuff because of 30fps.

Also, separately, if you're used to high end PC graphics, you're more likely, I'd suggest, to find GTS disappointing. It was phrased as a question because I didn't want to appear like I was making a statement of fact. That's a trifle annoying on a forum. IMHO.

Good to chat again Johnny!

Also, @glassjaw - nailed it
Yes, you are free to make all the mistakes you like. I merely pointing out that the discussion was merely about some specific sections of trees, but your response didn't specify trees, it said, "guys saying GTS looks bad" when no one was saying that. But carry on.

I mentioned trees first.

But thanks for the policing anyway.
Always a pleasure.

I can totally understand preferring Assetto Corsa as a sim but I don't think I would put PCars in the conversation personally.

However I think people expecting GT to be trying to do the same thing are just very much mistaken, it has to be playable and fun with a pad and for many millions more players than the games it is being compared to, of course it is going to be towards the sim-cade side of things.

It looks only due to the motion blur like a movie, I hope they give Pro users the options to enable it in gameplay. Since the pre race screen also runs at 60fps+motion blur. It makes things just look way more real.
i dont know... i guess ill prefer a clean picture during racing and some blur and other effects in replays! the black borders need to go too (as seen in the menus before replay)!

edit: you said enable... i get what you mean, but i cant think of PD giving this option in players hand.

The handling in GT is perfect for me as a pad player. It's the only racing game that I enjoy 100% with a pad. But for a good handling and a beautiful presentation, there are plenty of old flaws. Those flaws were acceptable in the 2000's, not anymore IMO.

I'd guess that a lot of people feel that it can both be optimized for pad driving and the 7 to 77 crowd, while at the same time leaning more towards the simulation side of things than it already does. Physics aside, people are also going to compare features and have individual preferences there as well. Some will take the enhanced graphics, for example, while some would have preferred full weather/TOD transitions and slightly lower graphics fidelity etc. It's a much more nuanced discussion than simply expecting the games to do the "same thing".

Playing all the games with the controller I am extremely please where GTS is now especially compared to Pcars and AC. All games have the BMW GT3 z4 and while driving on the Ring I actually like GTS better then all three. PCARS gives me the best experience though with the sounds and the dynamic track. I really hope PD can look at what PCars is doing with the tracks because I love it. Dont get me wrong im glad we will have the option to run at different times, but its not close to what you get with dynamic time.

From yesterday. Got stiffed at the start by a sitting corvette but brought 10th back to 2nd. Bit scrappy bit not a huge fan of the Genesis.
