He hasn't, Jordan has just told us to not expect anything from Paris.Don't forget Paris Games Week. Sony moved there from Gamescom (for some reason)

I know Jordan said that, just clarifying that @Shahar meant PGWHe hasn't, Jordan has just told us to not expect anything from Paris.
The word 'soon' should be forbidden for PD lol
Its not a month and a half... its a month and 1 day.(As we know it)The closest revealing potential event is 1.5 month away. And even the title says nothing to expect there. So PD's 'very soon' is really far away. *sigh*
Don't board the hype train if it's headed to Paris...
Hopefully again at Silverstone, was exciting to be at the anniversary event for GT6 reveal. If they do event in the UK to reveal GT7 then I will try and go to it but this time be prepared with a camcorder and tripod.Knew it .Oh man PSX is so far away, hope PD do their own thing like GT6 before PSX.

Well... assuming it's released in 2016 and they want at least 6 months of hype built up foe release. We have 3 months left in 2015... and the first 6 months of 2016, that means that we are twice as likely to see a trailer next year than this year... and its even triple the chance if we discount October, which we have already discounted thanks to @Jordan even if it was just hype control. This thread got a little crazy for a little while.Just don't see it though, GT6 was special since it was the anniversary.
We are getting 3 new announcments from Sony first party so with Sony Bend and GOW maybe, that still leaves GT7 to be announced this year.
It's all the fault of that idiot who placed a PS4 during the Bugatti VGT event!Well... assuming it's released in 2016 and they want at least 6 months of hype built up foe release. Hopefully.Oh it's gonna be at PSX, has too.
Don't board any hype train for GT, never mind where it's headed, would be my personal advice.Don't board the hype train if it's headed to Paris...
Sony may not need it to sell a PS4, but there is definitely a lot of demand for it.I expect from PD to communicate with us about gt6 and only about gt6. GT5 and Uncharted 4 are good examples of games revealed way too ealy. Sony doesn't need a GT game to sell ps4 so they let PD polish their game.
A seperate PD show, I just dont think its going to cut it. They dont want just members of GTPlanet and other core gamers to know about it. I mean, their GT6 announcement is a good example of it. A few of my friends that arent regulars to gaming websites but avid GT fans didnt even know GT6 was announced or even on the table for release until they saw it on the PSN store front.Nah, time to bury GT6. It was technically outdated before it even shipped. If we are talking a separate PD show, maybe some info or whatnot. But if its a PSX or sony presser I don't think there is much of a chance Shu is gonna give any substantial stage time to it. There is no point.
Imagine sitting in the dark and playing, like all gamers do at night. Then it wouldn't work, I know no gamers who sit in well lit conditions at all times. x)To be able to select things from the environment to be used in the game. Mostly for wheel users obviously, so we could see our own wheel, instead of the animated one. Or to help figure out where we set down our DS4.
Don't forget the FIA thing. It was announced post-released but was supposed to be here more than 3 months ago or earlier. So guys, now that we're getting the course maker, I think realistically speaking, GT7 can be revealed. As GT6 would be officially complete, well, apart from the VGT cars. But those can trickle in or even be changed to continue the program with GT7.
Everyone is going to be on the VR bandwagon. It's a huge technological leap in gaming and could revolutionize the whole genre if it really catches on. All games will be on the bandwagon for a while, and permanently if it takes off.Shuhei Yoshida hints at next GT using VR tech . . . .
You've got some great properties that would be a great fit for VR
too. I'm thinking something like Gran Turismo. Would that make
sense?
Shuhei Yoshida: "Many trial tests we've been doing, some genres
just work fine. One of those genres is racing games. So when Gran Turismo comes out on PS4, I'd like to see it support PlayStation VR, yeah."

Not quite. . . VR was tried with Driveclub, but it made Shuhei Yoshida get motion sickness and the feature got taken out.Don't forget the FIA thing. It was announced post-released but was supposed to be here more than 3 months ago or earlier.
