You are able to add motion blur to your pictures to make them look like they're moving, even though they aren't. So, I'd say Le Mans is in the game.
I believe Kaz said something like some scapes car would be able to move (or look like its moving) so I will not confirm La sarthe yet.

But I want it so bad in the game and hope it is!!
You're able to select what speed each car is driving. But you won't see it drive, it'll just add the motion blur effect of said speed.

I believe I said so because there are some images/scapes that the car actually moves and not just motion blur or travel speed

The car as you can see in the trailer is actually moving and I do not see that track being available to play in the game.

Remembering Kaz talking about dynamic vehicles in Scapes:

“Every picture contains spatial and light information, so whenever you move a car around in the environment, all shadows are adjusted in real-time. And what’s probably my favourite, you can actually let the car drive. Like you can let it pass the Royal Palace of Tokyo or the Guggenheim Museum in New York and it looks like a real shot.”

Quite an ambiguous definition of motion blur only. Some retailers also explicitly listed static and animated imagery in Scapes.

GT5 trailer also showed this. With GT it really is best to never assume anything.

Le Mans is an actual track though. There's no point in modeling a small portion of that track just to show the car drive through it. The environment in that gif isn't a scape but has always looked like one of those GT5p's small photo environments. I wouldn't worry too much about Le Mans being in the game. Pikes Peak though, all signs point to it being in the game but there's no visuals of it anywhere. :P

So, we will have ;

14/19

Nurburgring
Brands Hatch
Interlagos
Suzuka Circuit
Willow Spring
Circuit de la Sarthe
Mount Panorama Bathurst

Tokyo Expressway

Lack Maggiore
Dragon Trails Raceway
Blue Moon Bay
Northern Isles Speedway

Sardegna
Fisherman's Ranch

It's a very nice list of tracks :)👍

Weirdly, Kaz said in the presentation that it's 15 locations at launch from the video in the previous page :odd:

Edit: and he said 140 cars. Double confused.

That particular image isn't a scape though, you can tell because all object in the environment are 3D models, not a photograph.

Am I the only one who misses Ascari? I loved that track in GT6, and it looks like it's not coming back :indiff: I hope it will, eventually.

GT6 launch party was even held there I believe, it was modeled in the early 2010's and made its first appearance in GT6 so hopefully they're not gonna throw it away now.

That was one of my favourite tracks for sure. Loved racing and driving on it. I'd love to see someone have a go at Jacques Villeneuve's Area 27 as it's the same concept as Ascari.

And still people say that GT Sport is not that nice....... in combination with the lighning and super nice colours they have the nicest graphics of them all.....
Show me one person that has ever seen a close up image in GTSport and said it didn't look nice, beyond the legitimate issues of cockpit lighting in the past.

Just google and you find 3000 persons, and its not only up close its the total game. For the past few weeks i still see people saying that its in game not nice etc etc i dont get that am i playing a other game then those people?! Its past Driveclub its past PC2 its even past Forza 7 if you ask me. I will stop saying this now because isay it to much haha

Yes GT Sport has some flaws but other games have them to, look to the wheels of Forza 7 colours of the cars etc.

GT Sport is just the nicest LOOKING racegame at this moment! Now iam going to play the beta cheers haha

And the lightsource outside of the headlight. They fixed it to some extent in FH3 but it's back again now in FM7. :P

And in a GT5 E3 trailer we saw cars drive around the photomode locations. Could we drive there? Nope. Same in GT6, the VW VGT drove around a photo location there too. We've seen a couple of wind tunnels too. The K&W suspension rig too. Doesn't mean everything we see in trailers is possible in the game. :)

I'm in the GTPlanet Forum I don't need to Google it. You quoted a post with closeups and then said people say the game doesn't look nice. If you're referring to the internet as a whole I'd agree but people troll everything on the net, it's nothing special to GTS. I find people here to be pretty objective for the most part, with a few exceptions of course. There are legitimate issues with GTSport and for some people these are deal breakers. Once you get beyond the graphics, that's where most of the criticism comes in and for some of us, that is the game.

I reckon that may be a post-launch DLC - the 'Pikes Peak Pack' or something similar, with the track variants a la Dirt Rally, and some cars.

Also, @sems4arsenal I noticed those numbers too - seems odd no? Maybe he was using an old PowerPoint or translator-san got confused!

Man PD, along with other PS exclusive developers, seem to really have a grip on the PS4 architecture - the stuff they are producing looks real to the touch. Definitely setting the bar for graphics in video games. I haven't seen anything on any platform that looks as good as these games.

I saw a dirty Audi somewhere so will the cars get dirty when racing?

Yeah I noticed that too, the dirt looks so real. I like the fact that you have to wash your car in GT games.

I'm really hoping that washing your car is not hidden in five different menus. It'd be nice if the whole endeavor could take less than 20-25 seconds from the moment you leave the home screen to the point you get back to the home screen, including the actual washing animation (can't wait to see the car wash animation!)

What would be even nicer would be being able to skip the animation altogether and wash all of your cars at the same time. Going through the carwash animation is fun once or twice, after that it's just a waste of time. Fun fact, did you know that washing your car actually increased your top speed by 1-2 km/h in previous games?

Hah! Had no idea!

Also here it has bin said, search for yourself its not that hard to find ;) "doenst look good in motion" that kind of stuff is what i mean. Or only in trailer or replay etc etc, yes things are wrong but not the graphics. Dynamic weather is not that importent see Forza, dry to sooking with and still driving 200km/h with the slicks ;)

My point is, graphical it is just the best, the rest for me its the best but that is not a fact but a opionion.
