You're comparing in-game Horizon 3 to GTS in Scapes, where it doesn't even have to render the background? OK. Sure. No bias there. Totally fair comparison, and really shows just how much more GTS is doing with exactly the same situation.
I just thought he was just comparing how the Porsche models looked in photo mode.

Jokes apart, I tried to record a small clip that shows the tire deformation under the weight of the car

Great video!

I can't wait to see the final build of the physics with all assists turned off. In the video, as you mentioned, you see the tire deformation. You also see the effects the weight has on the suspension as a whole - even the wheels go into positive camber as the car losses contact with the ground 👍

And thats why i love GT! But why has forza carbon ceramic and GT steel brakes? Because if you race allot the carbon are a expensive hobby ;) all that detail, wow!
Just for others, the info you are referring to comes from Andreas Preuninger, the boss of Porsche GT, who states:
To be frank on 100-0 in metres you won't feel that much of a difference but if you drive back to back you find yourself braking later on the track with the ceramics - it's there and when you turn in the rotating mass is less so dynamically it has advantages too. I would always go PCCB I think for weight if you don't track the car too much. If you really are a track racer you should go with the steel rotors just because of money.

It is a little bit of an odd detail, as car maintenance does not appear to be modeled into GT Sport (yet). But it certainly makes you wonder if this quote influenced their decision on which brakes to model.

Also Matt Prior mentions the quote in his review at 6:16:

Didn't Kaz mention photos can be taken with cars doing drivebys in Scapes?
I believe that was more suggesting that you can add motion blur to the wheels, and background, to give the impression that the car was photographed while moving. This setting appears to be configured by stating the speed of the car in MPH, and then it will apply an appropriate blur effect. The higher the speed, the greater the blur effect, but the car will be stopped.

That last pic is like videogame vs real life. Maybe it's the scape rather than a rendered BG, maybe it's the lighting... Not sure.
Something PD are doing is pretty damn impressive. Maybe that's why they bang on about bloody colour spaces and gamuts and all that boring crap every presentation ;)

The reaction on Youtube that i get is:

"You cant race like ****"

Iam not the best but cant race like **** is a bit mheaah haha

Somebody from here? Haha damn the energy that people do to just to hate  Thats why the world is such a bad place these days......

Currently TOP1 in EU, grab the setup from the video while you can :gtpflag:

Courtesy of @Firehuntah too, right? :D As he provided me an initial setup.

Very good lap right there. :P Nice to see what gears you use and the split times, should be helpful for others. I also see it isn't a perfect lap though so still some time to be gained, going to have to give it a try tomorrow. ;) I also see you're not using the toe angle that I'm using in my setup, you don't think that's faster? it's going to be a very hard time to beat though, best I've done last week was 7.19 but that wasn't a perfect lap either. Hope we get to race eachother again this week, been a while already after I pretty much skipped all of last weeks races.

It wasn't a perfect lap yeah, however it won't get much better than this, max of a second for a whole lap. But it's definitely beatable, after all this was my 3rd lap so yeah. Don't worry about last week, I did just a few races as well.

Good tracks this week though! We'll be posting races from tomorrow on I believe :D
