That footage simply sold me on the game! DAY ONE!!!!

Just look at that Gr.3 version, just look at it...:bowdown:

Widebody road cars.

Those bodykit are gorgeous, too bad they will probably count as duplicates cars :(

Imo, these cars reminds me to the past where FIA allowing manufacturers to participate in their races with specific requirement to build limited numbers of homologated road car. Think that widebody RCZ as 205 T16 and you will get it. Or things like Porsche 911 GT1 and Mercedes CLK GTR.

The Peugeot looks more like a Pikes Peak version than a LMP1/GR1.

Yeah don't think it is. It's a 2017 car so maybe a not yet announced one?

750R doesn't really follow the standard Peugeot naming conventions though, ie. x0x like the 908, 308, 208 etc.

Yes. I find it an awkward designation for a Peugeot. Especially because the first Peugeot is simply called "Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo". Would be weird to name this new one something completely different with no reference to the manufacturer. But who knows... We'll have to wait and see. :)

I wonder how these widebody group N cars tie in in terms of customization? In my opinion, if we're able to have widebody road cars, then we must have access to significant (i.e. +70-80% on stock) power upgrades to use up all that extra traction. What do people think?

I know it's easier to design them in the digital world but I'm pretty sure PD could make decent money building bespoke bodykits for wealthy car owners or even 'by PD' cars, a la Tommy Kaira etc. They are beautiful.
