First time trying out the R32 and first video using the PS4 Pro as well. The differences are big in VR mode in GT SPORT. Everything has more definition and draw distance is much bigger.

So after my video about the bad AI in GT League I thought I should show this as well. Completed all the normal races and started on the endurance races now. I first did the one at Suzuka with the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and was pleasantly surprised by the AI there. While still not the same AI as in Arcade's custom races it's much better than in the normal races. They're still not quite fast enough but they're definately more realistic without any magic power boosts and seem to be more aware of cars around them. They actually give you a good challenge in this endurance race, at least untill you overtake all of them. But it's fun while it lasts.

Huh? How did you get that view? I can only replicate it by holding the right stick down.

Yeah, I used a little kneeding eraser pushing down the right stick to give me a better looking cockpit view.

Some of the AI moves in the offline races I'm sure have been taken from real life sport mode. I've encountered so many dive bombs from the AI, I have to double check to ensure I am actually racing offline!

Does VR with GTsport works on a "standard" PS4?

just out of curiosity, is this a direct record from the VR and how do you record from the VR headset?
is it a simple process of just feeding the final signal to the recording device as well? I noticed the rounded edges in many vr replays and it seems like it can't be removed?

This is normal PS4 footage, simply using the Share button. The image is hugely cropped, as you're only getting to see a small part of the 100 degrees of FOV.

The rounded footage you mention is captured the same way from VR, but when you're in menus, replays, etc. In this case, you're seeing in "Cinematic 2D Mode", not true VR. It's like a huge cinema screen floating in front of your eyes.

It does, yes. The three first VR videos in my channel were made in a regular PS4.

So Gr.4s at Bathurst came up again in the daily races so thought I'd have a go in the Vantage this time after getting the fastest lap using the Megane last time. The result was setting a near identical lap and topping the European leaderboards again.

Quick question for future reference; Do people prefer watching the lap with the ghost and splits shown or in replay mode with neither? Sometimes I feel the ghost gets in the way a bit, but then at the same time people might want to see the splits.

Nations Cup Superstar qualification... or at least to get on the board at a track I hadn't yet played properly in GT Sport... Yes I haven't played half the content yet so I've still got tons to look forward to !

Talking of superstar Nation Cup races, mines just finished uploading. Was great to see 24 S ranks all in one lobby and so many quick drivers including @Tidgney @Rick23 GT @nissman @Panzerfaust85 and @MuZZleToDD. Found it was quite difficult to overtake in this car, didn't really gain much time in the slipstream, had a decent race though despite getting stuck in no mans land towards the end.

Nooooo, my secrets, they're escaping! But yeh, found 3rd gear made it a lot more stable down that section and it wasn't too slow on exit especially if you keep right before the left and line it up nicely.
