Now if only PD had thought to test this patch to review the phenomena and examine countermeasures before releasing it to the paying public đź’ˇ

At least they noticed the issues unlike in the past. They were like living in stone age back in GT5 era. They got a little bit responsive and "slow but steady" these days but still lacking communications. As long what they do is to make the game better it is okay I guess. They just need a bit more talkative though.

Sucks about the wheel situation. Hopefully, they patch that ASAP. It doesn't affect me since I use the DS4, but I hate that the game is rendered unplayable for a lot of the wheel players at this point

They should hotfix this really fast the T500 wears the GT logo and its one of their higher priced wheel

The T500 and other issues are being worked on

I am happy that GT League is slowly being expanded. Just an observation, I am wondering if there will be a SEMA Cup and/or an historic cup based on cars from different eras or earned the Gran Turismo Award at the Peeble Beach. Would be good to introduce Laguna Seca in August to coincide with the Rolex Monterrey Reunion

Wow.... Super GT is super fast and super stable.... like F1 car....... but I'm feeling it won't be favourite on lobbies just like Gr. 1.....

Have just run the JSGT League race at Maggiore in the Nissan GT-R GT500 and it was huge fun. Kinda like driving a VERY angry wasp. Very fast and a real joy to drive. Everything that I was hoping these cars would be. I can see myself driving the JSGT League races a lot.

No official news but tweet from Toyota last month and Audi about a VGT car being available on April 9th suggests another DLC
is coming soon.

Toyota just said Apriñl Update, Audi VGT reveal is on April 9th but that doesn't mean the car will be avaiable that day, most of the VGT has been announced/revealed weeks before being introduced in the game, so makes sense to reveal the car on April 9th but include it in an hypotetical new update at late April

Maybe I'm being pessimistic but I'm of the belief that PD are only really looking into this because of GT:Sport being a basically online only title and if they didn't fix it Sony would likely go nuts.

Don't get me wrong. Tsukuba is O.K....
Some love it, some not so much...

But it's just a 2 km piece of tarmac. We had also 13 cars, but just a very small circuit, on track count matter.

That can't be said for certain. We know it is coming in April, but not necessarily the same time as the Audi VGT, although I would say it is quite likely.
Gran Turismo referred to the April 9th update as "the April update" indicating that it would be the noteworthy update for the month of April. Link.

You had one job, Polyphony. I don’t know why I expected anything different. Of course you would only implement the CSL Elite in a half-ass manner. No rev-lights, etc. It’s not the end of the world, of course, but why do things this way? So dumb, and even worse, they broke all you guys using the T500RS.

My goodness boys that unnecessary arguments, we know that every major update may occur unexpected bugs, all the games that have continuous updates are subject, even those that have test servers.
The really important thing is that PD is aware of the problems and will fix them as soon as possible.

I understand the point about bugs, however, that doesn't really apply to my criticism. It was not a "bug" to leave out support for the rev lights. It was a decision. My point was, PD should simply have waited longer and release "full" support including all the features. Why do things "half-ass", so to speak? Using the CSL Elite in compatibility mode was just fine before, at least IMO. Perhaps others could argue the oscillation was too bothersome, and it does appear they fixed that, so good on PD for that. It's a fair point.

I agree, it's certainly good that PD are quick to respond and at least update the public that they are aware and working on issues. That is excellent customer service.

Having fun, so far on the Tsukuba track with the RX-7 in the daily race. It seems like a good fit, as it would be pretty rough with anything faster than a GR.4 car.
-Also, let's not forget that today is also opening day for baseball season. Go Giants!
