GT Sport Update 1.15 Coming March 29 - BMW E30 M3, Tsukuba, and More

Toyota just said Apriñl Update, Audi VGT reveal is on April 9th but that doesn't mean the car will be avaiable that day, most of the VGT has been announced/revealed weeks before being introduced in the game, so makes sense to reveal the car on April 9th but include it in an hypotetical new update at late April

Exactly my thoughts, maybe a reveal that day but comes to game later. With this update, they put out a teaser, more info, then released it. They could do something similar with those cars.

Having fun, so far on the Tsukuba track with the RX-7 in the daily race. It seems like a good fit, as it would be pretty rough with anything faster than a GR.4 car.
-Also, let's not forget that today is also opening day for baseball season. Go Giants!

I also raced the RX-7 on Tsukuba. It was like a trip back in my Gran Turismo past. I love the track, despite it's limitations.

The Super GT's are too much fun.

And I think the power rating for them is a bit low so I bumped them to 650 HP. I got that figure from Jenson Button showing the Raybrig NSX he will drive this year on his Youtube channel. Granted it was for the 2018 car, but I have no other sources saying how much power they gave.

it's estimated between 600-650bhp for these 2 litre 4 cylinders, it could vary depending on circumstances as well, so 650bhp in qualifying but turned down a bit for the race.

This article makes it appear very strongly that it will be coming on April 9th, not just an unveiling.

To be fair to the E30, I watched a Best Motoring FR video from the 90s with the E36 M3 3.0 and that was getting out of shape on the same corners as the older M3 and it doesn't have the luxury of the later Z Axle at the rear.

I'd expect most 30 year old cars would feel pretty lacklustre compared to a modest current hatchback on a twisty road, because of grip and suspension advancements.

Don’t mind the new track not actually on my wish list but pretty technical and seems fun.

But the super GT cars, wow they are awesome I find LMP 1 maybe a tad too fast but these are perfect. Ran a 1.29.4 at dragon trail with BOP applied so good bit quicker than GR3, although I’m sure an alien would destroy that time so would be good to know how quick they actually are. That was the GTR.

The car handles nice Tsukuba is awesone i was moaning for moths about the lack of cars and tracks now im happy with these GT500's my favorite cars the pinnacle of GT has returned moan mode off

This game is still in desperate need of tracks. Even Assetto Corsa on PS4 has a better real world selection. This game needs at the very least (imo): Laguna Seca, Spa, Motegi, Le Mans, Silverstone.. to feel like a full game.

Why won't they add the settings we ask for... ex: ability to pan around the car with the right analog stick... photo mode in the pause menu....and some more simple settings which would be a breeze to add? It's starting to piss me off now

You do know that photomode for races exist in the replays?

Maybe I'm being pessimistic but I'm of the belief that PD are only really looking into this because of GT:Sport being a basically online only title and if they didn't fix it Sony would likely go nuts.

Actually, we are going nuts. In my opinion PD got some valuable lesson by releasing GTS. They can learn to manage the monthly update schedule and monitoring people feedback. Kaz did communicate with his Twitter but it is rather passive. PD already took in some way still felt like baby steps, but they are quite steady by releasing more content and improvement through months to be honest. Hope they can increase or at least keep the pace like this then we are good nonetheless.

I love that there are 3 Super GTs in this game and i love that they got their very own class. I was afraid Polyphony would put them in Gr3, but this way, we can experience as much Super GT-only races as we like. Amazing.

To just give you a short impression, i ran a lobby earlier today with some well known extraterrestrial Folks at Bathurst. BoP, stock just Racing Medium Tires and they pulled out 1:51‘s, wish they‘d kidnap me finally and introduce me to their superior driving skills

I was running racing hards, my quickiest time usually on dragon trail in GR3 in the RSR is 1.37.4 ish with stock BOP, so I guess I was approx 8 seconds faster so an alien may find an at least an extra second on my 1.29.4 in the super GT? This is with ABS only

I‘d say Gr2 is approximately 9,maybe, driven by a mother Alien, 10 seconds faster than Gr3. At least that’s my conclusion after running it on Bathurst. So yeah I guess low 1:28s shouldn’t be a challenge for them.

Just got home from school and am downloading the update. Currently at 62%. System made me delete16 gigs of space before I could download it which was weird.
