The parts you're showing aren't in the picture at all.. your pictures refer to the turns following the vista , you have the track flipped !
I don't have the track flipped, I did mention it was the reverse layout of Grand Valley.

The point I am trying to make is that the huge lake/river shown in the teaser does not match with the original layout of Grand Valley, particularly the brigde section of it.
I am only focusing on the orange marking you have in the picture.

Yes I have shown the section after the tunnel, but that was only to confirm if you can see mountain like landscape in the background matching the one in the teaser video.

Like I said this could be a new variation and design of the original Grand Valley or it could be a whole new track too.

yes and when ps5 gets out they will say, we are waiting for ps6 because ps5 doesn' t meet our requirements

The only time PD used that excuse was for the PS3 and it is known that was a terrible console to work with

It’s either Sierra , high speed ring , or grand valley.

I think it’s either grand valley or high speed ring.

It could be neither. Looks like a stock landscape with a bridge, a body of water and a tower. No indication of racetrack on that location.

That bridge is too long for it to be Grand Valley. Doesn’t that bridge end in a tunnel anyway?

Traditional yes but I think this may have been the original vision that the team had but couldn’t put out on the previous systems due to restrictions we may see entirely new design of the famous GT circuits.

Very excited...

I guess we’ll just to wait to see what it is . I’m hoping for a free new cars too.

My guess would be the update drops july 27.
Whatever track it would be welcome. Some more high speed tracks would be Nice. I want some original circuits back i don't care about them not fit Fia. Becouse i never even played the game for Fia. I never liked that idea.
I still expect some cars to come with. Road cars is what i want for the lost part. I need c6 Corvette zr1. And Pagani and some Others as well
well said, it seems we are playing for Fia, who the **** cares about Fia

Also I wonder if this road course would make it into the game at some point:

Man that's what I need from sim racing right now - nice point to point racing through beautiful tight back roads.

Hoping it's not Sierra. Awful, boring and uninspiring track IMO.

I can understand that point on Sierra - it is quite long and got kind of same-y over the length of the course.

But give me something about half the size, and the ability to choose between different sections of varying length/technicalities.

Something similar to Grid's touge battles. Sim racing does a good job of replicating track driving, but not so much at replicating the joy of everyday driving. Why must we have to settle on arcade physics for that?

Forza has had some very good efforts over recent years: rio de janeiro, fujimi kaido and amalfi coast.

Eiger Nordwand and Matterhorn were decent efforts. Eiger was too short though, and Matterhorn was kinda meh for me.

I actually think the new Tokyo courses are great at replicating highway driving though! Those are my favorite tracks in GTS to do time trials on.

Ahh, GTPlanet. The only place where people can have a 400 post discussion over a bridge and a castle.

To contribute and keep me from just being a negative Nancy like some members here, I’m going to say that it’s a new track. The landscape and bridge don’t line up with any track from the past, and PD have made nothing but fantastic original circuits for this game. I’m sure it will be a good track.

FIA demanded PD to get rid of the track editor so Gran Turismo could become a FIA licensed game

That's the first we've heard of that — and very strange, considering the FIA partnership was announced before the track editor even arrived.

I assume you have a source on this?

You're comparing a open world franchise with a circuit racer? How does that make any sense

Er, because the post he was directly responding to:

Sales in the racing game segment have decreased as a whole but carry on

Context is key.

The genre as a whole has seen a decline in sales over the years. FH3 has bucked that trend. It's pretty simple.

Toyota teased the 2018 supra at the Goodwood Car Festival. It is possible thats the red car visible on the teaser

The car in the Latest teaser could be the 2018 supra on La Sierra looking at the Release notes from the Gt6 Sierra update it contained a toyota la sierra and a online lobby update.

No, no no. The bridge, castle, mountain, lake and pretty much anything you can see are all just red herrings. This is obviously an existing track with everything, including the track probably, changed.

The blob of pixels certainly could be that camo A90, in as far as pixels could be anything car shaped. However, presumably you couldn't take it to the livery editor or else the camo would be entirely useless at hiding the production version underneath.

Who ever claimed this was the main line to PD? And who said they are looking for changes over night?

The fact that so many go for the "This better be there, OR I WON"T BUY ANOTHER GT GAME" on gtplanet. The action says plenty without anyone needing to claim anything as is a mindset (a severly flawed one at that)

Yeah, i mean why bother wasting time making suggestions and comments about a franchise that probably won't exist after its next installment.
Bold suggestion there, you have the sales numbers to make such a claim? Last I checked, it was hardly indicative that they are about to find themselves in a dire situation.

I honestly feel this isn't a teaser for a new track, and instead the bridge is a metaphor for something - maybe connecting together.
Who knows?

You can clearly see parts of road in the picture . They Line up with the parts of road in grand valley . Why some of you keep basing it on landmarks is beyond me m The tunnels were there for system limitations .

I think the scale of the vehicle on the bridge is much to large to be a car. I would agree with those who have said it is some type of transportation truck with a white cab and trailer.

As for the second vehicle “floating in the sky” that appears to the upper left of the one on the bridge, I would bet it’s a helicopter based off of the position of the lighting. The front white blob is casting forward and the rear red light is positioned atop the tail. It even looks like it’s throwing light down the vertical portion of the tail.

Now, that does not shed any light on what this teaser is teasing. But, the castle traits, sailboats, and vegetation on the small islands looks very Lithuanian.

My best guess judging by those observations would be a fictional track in Lithuania. Maybe even an existing older circuit getting new life there.

I tried to identify the mountain in the background and even potentially find it in the background of Grand Valley from older builds but the largest visible mountain in the background that looked similar would be behind the camera if they were using the same layout. If it is Grand Valley it’s an entirely new concept.
