I’m curious, would someone be able to fire up GT5 and get a shot of the F2007 and/or F10 and overlay the silhouette to see how it compares?

I still lean Mercedes/Hamilton on the prediction front, but I’d like to see regardless.

If it ends up being a Ferrari, that’d be an interesting plot twist.

I think the silhouette looks more like the F2007. I'm not betting on either of those. Plus i'd like something different.

My money is on a Hamilton Mercedes of some type. Most likely from one of his championships.

Wow talk about a quick response!

Yup, silhouette definitely doesn't match either of those, absolutely leaning on the Mercedes/fake Mercedes/new FGT based on Mercedes route.

Yes, it is your opinion and it is respectable, but people have the right to reply and make you see that you make a mistake, whether you like it or not, but GT has always had concept cars, this is not about opinions.

It is a question of preference. some people want the shul in the game. I do not want him. There is no right or wrong in this question.

My guess they took for weekend break. Even though some times GT social media account post something at weekend usually it was just featured images from players or Scapes. Still, nothing is certain for couple of days to come whether there is any latest information or not. Just my own guesses anyway.

I'm afraid I can't get terribly excited for this latest update. Two kei cars, an F1 car which has no fellow competitors, a Honda S660 , another Ford GT (seriously???) and two returning cars from GT6? We already have the GT plus the GT40 Mk I. What on God's green Earth could this one be? A PD tuned LM Spec II? Gobsmacked.

And what would be the sense of saving cars for GT7 when all the ones on GTS will be on GT7?
Because gtsport is cheap at the moment and the dlc free? It works with Forza because you can either pay for the DLC or wait for the next Forza less than two years later. From a business point of view, it's a good thing.

Sorry, what's this for?

EDIT: From what I can gather by looking around you're asking me to make 10+ seperate threads for every car I just posted 2 pages ago. Sorry, but that's a bit too time consuming for me. An image of every car and mentioning that they raced together in the same classes within a time period of about 3 (1998-2000) years was enough to make my point clear that race cars like these should be added to Gran Turismo SPORT.

Fun fact: In GT6 the Nissan R390 got a graphics upgrade and became a semi-premium car (exterior detail was as good as some of the premium vehicles brought over from GT5). This could be a hint that it will be coming to GTS (a tad more detailing, the interior needs to be completed and voila), and thus, the whole GT1, and possibly GT2 classes of the 90's as well (unless the Nissan gets thrown into Gr.X by PD and all the other cars are forgotten).

GT5 (obviously in standard class quality):

GT6 (looking much closer to premium class quality):

So many posts to browse.. So R390 (GT1?) is coming to GTS?!?!

I loved it in the first GT (which is the only GT besides GTS I've played).

It could be (maybe next year in the "June" update, possibly dubbed as the "Classic Le Mans" update), I can't see why PD would upgrade the R390's graphics for GT6 only to forget it in GTS.

You'll probably get a more lengthy response than this one.

In a nutshell: The Suggestions thread was made, so that these threads don't get cluttered with wishes.
Another reason is, Polyphony Digital might look at the suggestions thread as what cars are popular, by "Likes", within the gtplanet community.
Two of the most popular/requested cars(Mk4 Supra & E30 M3) are now available in GT Sport.

If you post a car you'd wish/want/feel to be in a GT game, in the appropriate thread, it just may happen.

Seems like an awfully big long shot, that is if PD is even listening. If this is the case (GTP as a community would have a very big say in what will be in GTS), the website should make an article on the home page (Title would go something like this: "Let's get PD's attention and add a community favourite to GT Sport") each week (or fortnight) of a car that has been voted the most in the section Famine directed me too to gain even more attention. That way it "could" be considered by PD and added to the upcoming DLCs.

Suggestions of cars you'd like in GT Sport go here.

Anyone watching this thread for information on the update would probably like to see information on the update, not 20 pages of cars people would like in GT Sport.

The Suggestions forums are more than four years old and likely contain the cars you're talking about already.

We set the Suggestions forums up as part of a request from PD that included the Kazunori Yamauchi Q&A forum...

... but either way, that's the place on GTPlanet for wishlists and this isn't, whether you agree or not.

Somewhat off-topic, but I noticed there's quite a few cars in that area that haven't been updated to "completed" status - just on the first page in most-liked sorting order I can see the LaFerrari, 458 GT3, Huracan LP 610-4, and Alfa 4C (also the Pantera there could be an argument of GTS vs. base model), is this because of the slightly different (1-2) model year difference?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On topic, if it is in fact a real-deal Mercedes F1 car, I wonder if any extra bonus, maybe campaign-related material could come with it? I recall Kaz mentioning that there could be expansions to the existing Campaign events down the road, and I don't think that's such a bad idea as more diverse car+track content enables more functionality. We already have a Nurburgring-themed Mission stage, so something like an extra Mission Stage set, following a theme centered around the F1 car and/or Mercedes would be cool. Maybe some qualifying/race record challenges on the GP circuits currently available (I believe Nurburgring GP, Monza, Interlagos, and Suzuka is what we've got at the moment), and/or something like the AMG driving school special event from GT5? It'd also be neat to have a "race" where a road car is pitted against the F1, and has to do a lap of a circuit before the F1 can manage two laps - there could be two versions, one where you pilot the F1, another piloting the road car. Hard to say if the A45/SLS/AMG GT-S would hit that balance just right, though.

Uh, the cars are technically already in "Gran Turismo" (in this case Gran Turismo 4, and some were even present in GT3), so they wouldn't and shouldn't be there. No logic in what you just said (threads (or the whole section of the forum) need to specify if the car is already in Gran Turismo (the series) or not and should get an upgrade to the newest iteration if it is) .
The fact that they're not in GTS, and they really should be, is what I am trying to say. They make up a big part of racing history as the last real race cars of the 1900's, before regulations implemented to "save" the planet were introduced.

There are threads for cars that were in earlier Gran Turismo games and not in current ones (originally GT6, because the forum was set up in 2014, now GTS).

Look, I'll even help you find the R390 one so you can Like it:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/nissan-r390-gt1-lm-calsonic-xanavi-32-premium-1998.305535

The Suggestions forum is where cars you'd like to be in GT in the future go. This thread - or any other outside the Suggestions forum - is not.

Thanks for clearing that up. :) 👍

Btw, how do you search for specific cars? Do I need to scroll through the pages to find it?
