Given that a game goes for $80 Canadian new, there's no reason I'd pay $50 for any amount of DLC for a game unless it comes close to what was released at launch. The free updates may be getting there content-wise for GTS, but only because what was released at launch was exceptionally little.

Im not trying to create hype just expressing my opinion you clearly dont like hype sad for you the way How PD Teases stuff now will create only more HYPE Dont get Offended By HYPE Cause GT Sport Is HYPEAt? I've seen the storage display, you might want to look again and point it out. The only Merc there from the current F1 team is the one I said.
Clearly you're confusing what I said. I'm talking about structures with cars in the back ground. Like the image you used, and the modeled statues from Goodwood. One of which in GT6 had a Merc F1 car. Point is you pointing that out doesn't mean anything especially when it's not the correct car to the silhouette.
And I'm using your logic, which is why I brought up all those other cars. Surely if those cars are seen there then by your thought a future silhouette should appear in the upcoming months based on those cars. I mean might as well create hype via non-connecting info.
Rather, let's use logic, because we actually have evidence that pin points game play material, like the silhouette of said car... we can then infer or at least attempt to as best possible until otherwise, that the car is the W08. Not because of some background image or because Merc aligned with Sony for an esports team.
Oh the W06 over there or perhaps W07. It doesn't have the delta shape to it which became new design regs when the W08 came out but I'm pretty sure you knew that.

No I don't like false hype, again trying to connect wires that aren't connectable doesn't help anyone. The two cars there aren't the W08, however the silhouette looks very much like the W08.
GTS isn't hype nor has any GT game really been hype sure they tease but they've typically been very clear with each announcement what people will get, it's the fans that go looking and draw in false hype. It's the fans that get mad when people critique them and then claim everyone is offended, when in reality that is not the case.
One a side note back to topic:
Seeing as the 787B dropped it will be a matter of time before the Toyota TS020 GT-ONE car would as well as it would be 4 group C variants to make a new class (hopefully) and I remember a member here already mentioned it may appear in this game.
As for the Ford GT I really hope it is the LM Spec II as it would make much more sense to drop that one instead of the concept one but again PD never works with logic.
I mean I want to relive these good old days:

But everyone would probably remember the "moonlight over the castle" one:
GT-One wasn't a group C car...so no it wouldn't be 4 group C cars, since you know we already have that many as is.

Probably not the right place to say this, but I would LOVE to have a contemporary open cockpit LMP1. R15TDI? Pescarolo Judd? I'd settle for an R8. I just can't drive the GR.1's from the cockpit- visibility is terrible.

All kidding aside. Who doesn't like free things? The problem I have with this latest car update is that it's just not well balanced for me. Let us look at all the car categories shall we:
- Passenger Cars
- Classic Cars
- Race Cars
- Supercars
- Hypercars
Not sure if I cover all the categories of cars. We have everything else except we don't have any supercars or hypercars which are my most important cars in this game. So if you are a fan of supercars and hypercars like myself, it's disappointing. But I always look forward to hopping on the HYYYYYYYYYYYPPE TRAIN and stay positive for next month. Doesn't mean I am going to quit playing this game because of one bad month. GT Sport is the only game I have.
Has anyone guessed what the other 5 cars could be excluding the 250 GTO and 787B? What I'm puzzled over is that the first few packs had 12 cars, then in May it was 9, nothing in June and now 7....Feels like it's slowly tapering off.
I just hope that two or three of those cars are worth getting excited over. Call me weird but for me the 787B and 250 GTO are cars which have been prevalent in racing games, both this generation and previous ones.
I'm the kind of person that likes to see new content but also to see cars make a return that are rare (which haven't been seen much, if at all, in multiple racing games, either this generation or before)

Again not frustrated, you were wrong, I pointed it it out. The end.
You claiming other stuff after that is just that, you somehow know tone through written text. And no I wouldn't get mad if it's an FGT based on the curent crop of F1 cars. Where did you get that idea? I'm getting the impression English isn't your native language and that could be why we're having this disconnect.
I said you gave false hype based on a background model that isn't even related to the car in question. Again not sure why you're struggling to understand what I'm saying while at the same time trying to shuffle it off as someone being mad, when that's not the case.

GTS is sadly lacking in supercars and hypercars and this latest update is, as quite rightly pointed out, not balanced.
Forza has become what GT used to be. A game full of hundres of wonderful and unique cars. I feel GTS doesnt really know what it's supposed to be.

It takes 54 races with the clean race bonus to reach 20 million credits.
At your 13 minutes per race that would require 11.7 hrs minimum.
Realistically you would need probably 13 hrs. or more of grinding just to buy 1 car!
GT5 had this same problem until the seasonal events were released and you could receive over 1 million credits per event. You could purchase a 20 million credit car in a fraction of the time.
A player should not have to use glitches or grind for a ridiculous amount of time to receive credits and XP points.

At this point I just want to be a able to buy credits........
We also need to be able to sell the gifted cars. Who needs 100+ duplicate cars with no value?
We have been down that road before. Very bad idea!

cant find any other reason why you send me a page long post complaining about your made Up term "false Hype".

Late to the party, but this looks interesting. A Honda S660 is going to be something of a guilty pleasure of mine.
In fairness, just because a user has a certain Flag, doesn't necessarily mean they are of that nationality. It could mean they chose that flag because they're an expat and simply live there currently so they identify with their host country instead. Forum flags are ambiguous like that.

Yes he does not let people enjoy what they "like" but that may be because there are certain things each person does not tolerate.

Oh the memories just keep flowing back (24h of Le Mans was one of my favourite races)! I really want to see the GT1/GT2 (fictional and real) cars of the Gran Turismo 4 days get delivered into their 4K glory on GTS. They'd surely be very popular with many drivers.
If any two classes of cars (excluding the modern categories of racing) from the 90's - 00's period deserve to be in GT SPORT it's the last generations of GT1 and GT2.
EDIT: Some pics aren't showing up, those other cars I wanted you guys to see are:
- Panoz Esperante GTR-1
- Nissan R390 GT1
- BMW M3 GTR (E46)
- Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca
- Lister Storm V12 Race Car
All these GT1/GT2 cars, with the proper BoP, could make for some absolutely amazing multi-class racing. Would suit the FIA competitions just fine too. (Gr.GT1 and Gr.GT2 for already existing car brands in game)
