How likely is it for another car teaser this time next week?

I’m a little disappointed there’s only 7 cars and not the usual 12, also considering we didn’t get anything for June

So Kaz tweeted again and this time isn't related with July update but upcoming event for Audi VGT exhibition run in Japan. However...

I know the translation is not specifically correct. It is probably more like "the event will be held at Fuji" or similiar. But who knows this could be a possible hint for next track addition. We also get fantasy track this month (not certain yet but seems like it) so it is plausible that next track would be real one if we followed back to the monthly DLC cycle. Just prediction though not expecting this too much for now.

I know it doesn't say it but I would welcome Fuji" as a nice addition.
 
Look since we are getting F1 cars back I do hope we get the Ferrari F2007 and the Ferrari F10 back to GT Sport.

Heck all I would care if all the F1 cars were Ferraris.

I dont want to buy F1 from codemasters to enjoy F1 cars. Because GT sport and Asetto Corsa along with Project Cars 2 offer much more freedom.

Driving an f1 car at La sarthe or the Nordschelife you cant even do this experience with the Codemasters f1 games because of licence restrictions.

I drove the Ferrari F2004 on the nordscheliefe on Asseto Corsa it is one of the best experiences I had in a racing game.

You are right though. My mistake didn't took attention to hashtags Kaz put there at first. By the way, the related event will held next month and to drop Fuji in my opinion seems possible. However, I will keep my expectation low at the moment anyway.

I wonder if the Vazirani Shul will come with the update too. Seeing as though it war unveiled I assumed it would but now I'm not so sure.

I don't think we will get it this month but I suspect we may well get it soon...

They will do the same thing as the Audi VGT. Group X will be an automatic 4wd that is a bore to drive.

The Group 1 will be a six or seven speed manual with a similar performance envelope as the Audi. Interesting but I think its not like as if we need more Grp.X Grp.1 VGTs.

Off topic, but that's just a great way to end my 2-week long trip to Japan (1-long for Tokyo tho). Hope to see Kaz himself and, perhaps, spill out some details of next DLCs :sly:
 
The 3 Kei cars should be fun - I love slow tiny cars because online they allow close races and people generally race cleaner with them. Also cheap to buy!

The top right car - at first I thought it's the Ford GT40 Mk IV, but judging by the headlights it's likely the 2nd gen Ford GT (if you count GT40 as "1st gen").
Which model though? Judging from GT6, it could be the Concept '02, '05, GTLM Race Car (Gulf), GTLM Race Car Spec II (White) or GTLM Prototype (Black).
Long shot, but it could also be GT40 Race Car (Gulf) - which would be another 20 million car :crazy:

The Formula car, I'm willing to bet is another generic PD creation based on current/last year regulations cars (no halo please!). The nose has a step which wasn't present on the old Formula GT. If we follow the same name nomenclature as F1500T-A, then it will be called F1600TH-A. I kinda wish they went Raceroom route and created their own monster V12 powered F1 with this year's downforce though. F1 just hasn't sounded exciting since the hybrid era...

The quad rotor beast 787B is awesome and always a welcome addition. Looking forward to its sound as PD got it pretty close in older games, so this should be even better :drool: Matter of fact, any Group C car is always awesome. Just wish they have their own class instead of being lumped with Gr.1 and being woefully uncompetitive in corners.

Lastly, Ferrari 250 GTO. Despite its historical significance, I've always been a bit ambivalent about this car. I just do not think it's worth the astronomical values it fetches in real life, and certainly not in game. Just when I'm starting to get stuck in Sport Mode, the Blue Moon Bay beckons again... :rolleyes:

Disappointed that there's still no sign of NSX NA1/2. Also Vision GT project is getting long in the tooth. I know most people hate it but I always look forward to what each manufacturer brings. Just wish they would come out regularly like in the early days of GT6.

New track I'm also looking forward to. Also more extensive suit/helmet livery customization is welcome - always wondered why this isn't in the game from the start.

I also predict we get a "Summer" related scapes update, probably a Tanabata scene. We've had Autumn (Red Leaves), Snow and Spring (Cherry Blossoms) so far, and Japan is definitely hitting peak summer heat at the moment.

It's gonna be a long long week ahead...
 
The problem with the 250gto in GT6 besides the fact that its $20 mil. is that it was classified as a race car and then the PP was fairly low meaning the car wasnt that competitive in its class.

It drifted ok.

Let's see how it goes in GTS but I suspect its another vanity car for the rich like the 330p4 and XJ13.
 
Dude no. Not another $20 million car. I'm sick of this. I've just finally got $5 million saved up (the most I've ever had at once), the 787b and the hopefully F1 car is gonna set me back to square one already. I have way too many hours in this game (259 hours) to be this far from ever getting just one of those 20 million dollar cars. Honestly, it's like GT Sport was set up for microtransactions. That's how much of a grind it is to earn cash. It's like GTA Online except without the shark cards. The daily bonus cars over and over again are duplicates of cars that I was gifted in the first place (meaning I can't sell any of them). Maybe once a week I get a car I don't have yet, and it's not like there's not a lot that I don't have. I literally have 5 alfa 4c's, 4 of some other cars, and 3 of even more.

It's honestly criminal to me that I still haven't got to drive the 330 P4 because of the terrible economy in this game. Rant over.
 
I can't believe there's 69 pages of self hype so far over an update to a video game, & not a very good game at that. I don't get the excitement...

The whining thread has been up for over 2 years, so I can understand the amount of posts in it. But, this thread has only been up two weeks! The whining thread is about an entire game, & everything people are disappointed in, this thread is only about one update. And, all we know is that we're getting a few cars & one track. It's not like we haven't got any cars or tracks in the game already!

No offense, but do you understand that it's a Gran Turismo Forum (and others racing games)? If we are here and comment it's because GT is our favorite game (even if you think the new ones aren't the best out there) and we can be excited to see how they are ameliorating the game ;) Some of us still enjoying GT and are curious about the future
