@Krypton78 Well, I politely disagree with that. Not including tracks I know and love driving, is just one of the reasons why I haven't bought GT Sport, and most likely never will.

Well I can only recomend buying the game. I admit I didn't play any other racing game outside the gran turismo series, but if you like high level graphics and have a little online-competitive nature then you'll do nothing wrong.

I am curious though. Wy would someone not interested in ever buying GTsport posting in a GTsport thread? I am not interested in knitting, so you wont find me in any knitting thread...

But then again... There is a summersale now in the PSstore so I highly recommend buying the game and try it on the cheap.:gtpflag:

While this update may not please everyone as always it is However a huge content update that should have something in it for everyone.

I think I'm most excited about the new track over everything else. PD is excellent at creating fictional tracks that always seem to have a good race flow to them.

I'm glad it won't be deep forrest or grand valley. Because, to be honest guys, we drove that tracks so many times its time to move on.

The F1 and 787B are closing the circle, every other car after them are just bonus for me

I chuckled at the "it's time to move on" portion of your post. There have been so many mainstays in this 20-year sim series - from cars and tracks to single player events - that have made the transition to GT Sport. The demand for them has stayed pretty high. Many of us want to see these old tracks remastered to contemporary graphical standards. And they've done a pretty nice job of meeting that demand thus far. So, no, it's not really time to move on - not when they're still obliging us.

New track (may be) up on Sunday 5th August. Don't know what other shows up. Kudos to @Hasnain282 for pointing that out.

P.s don't take it to heart as it may change.

I bought it last month in the sale for £15.99, & while I don't regret it, it's definitely my least favourite game in the GT series. The biggest issue for me is the broken tyre model, but I'm hoping against hope that it will be fixed soon. That said, it is fun driving the AWD cars on the real world tracks in Custom Race Mode (they're the only ones that seem to not be affected by the tyre issues). The FFB is also as dull as dishwater compared to GT6...

In addition to what we know about the update so far, I would love to see these 2 changes as well.

1. The removal of the daily car roulette. If I play this game for 1-2 more years, that is going to get old really dang fast.
(I have no affiliation to Renault, yet I'm gifted one almost every day :banghead: :))
Just let me buy them or earn them.

2. I would also like the addition or the reintroduction of voice chat in public and private lobbies/rooms. Party chat doesn't cut it for our full rooms.

I'm excited to see this new track that has been CSI'ed over and how Hamilton's car drives.

Thank god it's the 2017 F1 not 2018. The stupid ass Halo is about the only thing that could ruin getting a modern F1 car in GT Sport.

Still annoyed that we're getting yet another 20 million dollar car though. The 5 mil I have saved up is gonna go to the F1 and 787 so once again I'm starting from square one. It'll be years before I get the 330 P4 at this rate let alone the other 2.

I really hate the fact that we're not allowed to sell duplicate gift cars, or just get some decent gift cars. The gift cars work the way loot boxes do. The chances of getting anything good is 1 in a million. 9 times out of 10 you get the worst possible option, like a livery in a rocket league crate instead of something useful. That's exactly what GT Sport is like.

I'd honestly rather have MTX's if they were reasonably priced than the way GT Sport is now. No joke

Old news. I've won that race 50 times since GT Sport came out, still no where near enough credits. Sorry if I don't feel like grinding the same race 50 times every time an update comes out and clears out what credits I have saved up.

Track editor in GT6 was 🤬 so please no .

That is the most ridiculous comment I've ever seen on GTPlanet, and that says a lot. First of all, it was anything but 🤬. Even the one in GT5 wasn't, but the one in GT6 was great other than the lack of control over elevation.

Seriously, how are you gonna say no to a literally unlimited number of tracks IN A RACING GAME???? You know how many people whined about GTS's track list when it came out? Yet you see the possibility of recreating real world tracks, and making new ones and say no to it? That is pure insanity.

You're just like the people who whined about standard cars in GT6 and GT5 despite the fact that if it was a free DLC download, you all would've downloaded it. Saying no to more free content is idiotic whether it's ideal in your opinion or not. Nevermind the fact that GT6 had one of the best track editors ever in a racing game (seriously, what other than Mod Nation racers has a better one with more freedom????)
