I like the time for downtime for the update. For Pacific Time Zone between 23:00 and 25:00 PDT. I thought a day had only 24 hours.

Just their way of saying the downtime could extend beyond the end of the day by maybe an hour. The servers are usually still out an hour after 24:00 iirc.

@Krypton78 Well, I politely disagree with that. Not including tracks I know and love driving, is just one of the reasons why I haven't bought GT Sport, and most likely never will.

I understand your reasons to a certain extent. Especially with the vanilla release of GT Sport being so light content wise and PD having a history of not being reliable when it came to updates. I was almost of the same line of thinking as you. But the steady stream of free content, huge potential, and the and reduced price made the game irresistible purchase for me on the day of the Le Mans update.

I miss the old fictional tracks as well. In fact, for me at least, before real life race tracks in GT piqued my interest, the strength of PD's design of their fictional tracks was as much a hallmark of the earlier GT games as much as their variety of cars, tuning and other things.

As far as fictional tracks, I don't think PD themselves have surpassed earlier efforts such as Seattle, Mid-Field, Red Rock Valley and Grindelwald. GT2 in general being the peak of any racing game when it came to track design in my opinion.

Regardless, I would say it wouldn't do you no harm giving GT Sport a try for the aforementioned reasons I have given.

That is the most ridiculous comment I've ever seen on GTPlanet, and that says a lot. First of all, it was anything but 🤬. Even the one in GT5 wasn't, but the one in GT6 was great other than the lack of control over elevation.

At the very least the track editor introduced some unique layouts into the seasonal events.

I fondly remember our group discussing these professional events in this GT6 seasonal forums.

These tracks are now all gone (I beleive) and there's no way to play them.

This is a shame since the tracks were quite driveable. I think at best we have our own playback videos and YT to see what they were like.

At this point I'd take Sierra Andalucia... so much so I fired up GT6 to complete the Sierra events I missed out on.

D. All the above. And more...

One of the greatest races in Australian motor racing history. Don't forget this downpour occurred when most of the field was on slicks. That would not happen in GT Sport.

The point was addressing rain in Sport Mode. This would surely be the outcome for all T1 wet races. ;)

Is Fuji going to be added? The reason is the latest tweet is from Audi Japan, https://www.audi.jp/e-tron_vision_gt/ this mentions Fuji Speedway.

For the "Gran Turismo series"

Designed virtual car is

He jumped out of the game world,

Japan Premier at Fuji Speedway.

Only one in the world.

Running a real circuit

"Audi e-tron

Vision Gran Turismo "

Finally in front of Japanese fans

I will show you.

It sounds like a poem haha

Wouldn’t it be fascinating it we got an open world track say about 20 to 30 Km long and it had traffic, multiple turns, traffic lights, traffic rules, streets and we get to drive around like we have an open world GT but only it’s just a small sample to experience. I’d like that for a while before I get bored.:gtpflag:

I think that the update besides cars, BOP tweaks and a new track (maybe Spa?) will contain NEW offline races:
  • kei-car championship (3 tracks)
  • F1 W08 championship (i bet +10 tracks)
  • new Gr.3 Endurance race
  • new Gr.1 Endurance race
and don't forget about the new "Circuit Expierence" lesson. Le Mans and a LMP1 2016 winner car - Porsche 919.

It's on sale at 25% of the original price, at this price and with what it offers it seems strange not to buy it

Too many French tracks ;)

Free updates are ace, it's got to be underlined. Especially these days.

Looking forward to that F1 car, if only to livery it (wishful thinking).

With some track modding/creation tools it was awesome. At the end we had elevation control, Euler curves and procedural hairpins.

I ended up grinding for 5,800,000 credits. Now its a gimme that both the 787B and Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car (if it is) altogether will cost 1,450,000 credits. 1 million for the 787B and 450K for the GT LM Spec II (normal price for a Gr.1 and Gr.3 car). As for the F1, for me hopefully it doesn't cost more than 3-4 million or otherwise I'm screwed and will have to grind more.

The 250 GTO, we already know its gonna be another unicorn car hence its gonna cost 20 million.

Spa won't arrive, it's the new French circuit only. You'll be disappointed if you get your hopes up like that.

I cant wait to put a 787B renown livery on a 787B.
Stealth Model for me. Arguably the best looking car for the Stealth themed cars.

Though I wouldn't mind putting on the no.56 livery as well.
