Circuit experience has been Gr3 cars consistently, no?
Yes. The three rally tracks are all Gr.B cars, while Kyoto Miyabi, Willow Springs Horse Thief Mile and Tsukuba use Gr.4 cars (TT, GT-R, Evo X), but otherwise all Circuit Experiences, including the others added to the game, are Gr.3 cars.

Today is the 28th and it does not look like we will be getting another teaser. Was hoping for another car pack teaser.

I am wondering why we only receive 7 cars for the month of July. I suppose 7 cars on the 7th month:

It never clicked with me that most of the Circuit Experience cars are Gr.3. I had assumed that PD would choose the Toyota TS050-HYBRID for the Circuit de la Sarthe version, but perhaps they will go with the Porsche 911 RSR to keep that consistency. I'll still say Toyota though.

Why should you be able to sell them - you are given them for free why should you then be able to get money for them? If you don't want them then it is easy to delete them. Drives me nuts that people think they should get money for them!!!

CJ
It drives you nuts? Maybe my memory betrays me, but I recall being able to sell them in earlier GT titles. Grinding for 15-20 hours to afford a 20,000,000 car is a better game design you think? Well, I dont.

I'm glad it won't be deep forrest or grand valley. Because, to be honest guys, we drove that tracks so many times its time to move on.

The F1 and 787B are closing the circle, every other car after them are just bonus for me
I do agree but some people love repetition.

I remember in GT5 or 6 some people would play Autumn Ring Mini over and over again. All damn day. Every single day.

I just don’t understand this:crazy:

Well I can only recomend buying the game. I admit I didn't play any other racing game outside the gran turismo series, but if you like high level graphics and have a little online-competitive nature then you'll do nothing wrong.

There are many good reasons to buy the game, I know. But there are also reasons for me not to. So, I will stay without at this moment. I appreciate the recommendation though

I am curious though. Wy would someone not interested in ever buying GTsport posting in a GTsport thread? I am not interested in knitting, so you wont find me in any knitting thread...

Then why are you part of this group? Lol

I don't play Forza, Nfs, Driveclub or Project Cars 2.

And funnily enough, I don't comment on those threads. Ever.

//Closes door//

I honestly didn't expect this kind of hostility to, uh...posting in a thread for a game I obviously am interested in (or else as you point out - why would I be here?). I am interested in Gran Turismo, always have been. Regardless if I am playing the game or not. I just found @Krypton78 's statement of having "moved on" from the classic fictional courses not correct - for me at least.

I'm interested in the future of the GT Series, because I might return to it one day. Thus any developments of this GT are worthwhile noting.

I understand your reasons to a certain extent. Especially with the vanilla release of GT Sport being so light content wise and PD having a history of not being reliable when it came to updates. I was almost of the same line of thinking as you. But the steady stream of free content, huge potential, and the and reduced price made the game irresistible purchase for me on the day of the Le Mans update.

I miss the old fictional tracks as well. In fact, for me at least, before real life race tracks in GT piqued my interest, the strength of PD's design of their fictional tracks was as much a hallmark of the earlier GT games as much as their variety of cars, tuning and other things.

As far as fictional tracks, I don't think PD themselves have surpassed earlier efforts such as Seattle, Mid-Field, Red Rock Valley and Grindelwald. GT2 in general being the peak of any racing game when it came to track design in my opinion.

Regardless, I would say it wouldn't do you no harm giving GT Sport a try for the aforementioned reasons I have given.

I do think you're correct on the inventiveness and strength of the courses created made them lasting. And makes fan (like myself) demand those old tracks to return. And I think the post-release support for GT Sport has been, for most part, excellent. Better than I expected.

Unfortunately, at this point in time, I don't think it's worthwhile for me to invest in the equipment I would need to make it enjoyable for me. As I would need to buy a PS4, and a wheelhub. I'm not sure it's worthwhile to do so at this point in the lifecycle of the system and game. So I will wait for the future. It's certainly not because I think GT Sport is bad game, far from it.

There are other personal reasons why I likely won't play GT Sport this generation. But, I never say never .

Not buying the game because its does not have a track you like. WOW. Your only missing out yourself.

It's just one of many reasons, which I stated.

@LongbowX lives!! How you been?

&&& I’d highly suggest purchasing the game while the sale is still on. I think you’ll like it ;).

I am still alive, I still do participate in a few of the corners of GTPlanet that don't directly have to do with GT. I'm okay, but I think for moment I have retired from racing. I will perhaps return to it at a later point, when I am in a healthier state of mind and life.

Thanks for the comment though, it's nice to hear from you.

VBR
I bought it last month in the sale for £15.99, & while I don't regret it, it's definitely my least favourite game in the GT series. The biggest issue for me is the broken tyre model, but I'm hoping against hope that it will be fixed soon. That said, it is fun driving the AWD cars on the real world tracks in Custom Race Mode (they're the only ones that seem to not be affected by the tyre issues). The FFB is also as dull as dishwater compared to GT6...
I honestly think they reduced the FFB because they want to make the Thrust Masters TGT shine that much more

Personally my post wasnt meant as being hostile . I just thought you were a GTsport fan who just is a little to scared to come out of the closet. ;) I just wanted to give you little push 👍

The T-GT has a bass shaker built into it, & I think they must've dialed the FFB in for that wheel. Because you get more vibration with the T-GT, any other wheel feels dull as a result. However, after much research & testing I've found a pretty decent setting for the less powerful wheels like the G29. I'm not going into details, but try; 7/4/10.

👍

Old news. I've won that race 50 times since GT Sport came out, still no where near enough credits. Sorry if I don't feel like grinding the same race 50 times every time an update comes out and clears out what credits I have saved up.

That is the most ridiculous comment I've ever seen on GTPlanet, and that says a lot. First of all, it was anything but 🤬. Even the one in GT5 wasn't, but the one in GT6 was great other than the lack of control over elevation.

Seriously, how are you gonna say no to a literally unlimited number of tracks IN A RACING GAME???? You know how many people whined about GTS's track list when it came out? Yet you see the possibility of recreating real world tracks, and making new ones and say no to it? That is pure insanity.

You're just like the people who whined about standard cars in GT6 and GT5 despite the fact that if it was a free DLC download, you all would've downloaded it. Saying no to more free content is idiotic whether it's ideal in your opinion or not. Nevermind the fact that GT6 had one of the best track editors ever in a racing game (seriously, what other than Mod Nation racers has a better one with more freedom????)
Wow wow cool it down would you ? im not a whiner at all ill tell why i didn't like this feature (as it was in GT6 1. It had a small amount of preset locations to create your track on to without being able to edit it (thats understandable but still) 2. most of the surface's i raced on were bumby as 🤬 thats the main resson because lets take Spa for example so lets say you recreate that track whats the same? the layout whats different 1. the enviroment/location 2 .The Surface physics simulation or what ever is called but if you don't have this two do you really have Spa or any real life track ? No thats why ill prefer any official content any day now as far as fictional tracks created be users i agree on that. And 4.by providing in app forn instead being in the game from the start meant a lot of players could not use it anyway including myself & i have a 2016 phone sorry a different opinion triggers you so much. Oh & btw if this is the most ridiculous thing you saw on Gtplanet looks like you haven't seen many things on here.

Well that being the case I couldn't recommend it seeing as you don't even have the relevant hardware to play it on already. Even just getting the ps4 alone - even a standard cheaper PS4 over the pro - and not the wheel would not be worth it for this one game.

So my previous point, (and the 14 people who agreed with my post reply to you), still stands.

I'd quite like to try I-Racing on PC for example. But again, I don't have the hardware for that. If I was really really into it, i'd buy it and then be more involved with it's community. If I didn't, I wouldn't....

Welllll, I was pretty much getting a PS4/GTS before thec game's announcement. Then, I changed my mind. I'd only get it after it was reviewed by members in gtp.

After the game dropped, I didn't get a PS4. I played other games when I saw how many people were disliking the lack of content and online only. When Campaign Mode was added, I started to become interested again. More content added after that.

I finally bought a PS4/GTS in March. I'd never done that for any GT since GT1. I was always preordering, buying Japanese versions and chipping Playstations since day one. If the man doesn't want to buy it for whatever reason, good on him. I'm glad I bought the game, but that's me.

@TJC_69 Not owning something, does not preclude one from being allowed to comment on it if they so choose. At this moment, I'm not as into it. But I might be, and I'm still interested in GT Sport's development as a game. You can also choose not to read the post, if you don't think it's worthwhile.

It was all about disc swapping for me during the original PS1 days. Getting GT1, GT2 ntsc versions before the protracted pal releases are still fresh in my head. The longest was getting Tekken 3 almost 6 months before local release, as well as finally playing in full screen in 60hz made me feel more privelaged then my friends. Miss the import scene alot.

I would recommend it. I bought a T300RS, a PS4 (which I then traded back in toupgrade to a PS4 Pro) and my next gift from the wife will be a 4K TV. I dont regret it. And I've tried every SIM/racing game. Some of them I have on multiple platforms. GT Sport is very enjoyable. It has its flaws just like some of the other titles.
The main one bugging me is my desire for it to have more content, specifically tracks.

This title is awesome. Most everyone here likes it. The reason some are so frustrated is precisely because they like it. They wantbit to be more. Even if they won't acknowledge or admit it. That's just my opinion.

Find a friend who has it and go try it at their place. You'll see.
