GT Sport's Daily Races Actually Are Daily Now

They should copy iRacing and go with 1 track per week in at least 1 series. (They already copied the iRacing SR/DR rating system to an extent.)

Bottom line, the core players that are going to stay loyal will race on if you have a predicable format. Also, makes little sense to cycle daily with the minimum amount of tracks that are in the game.

PD is known for burying their heads on the sand when it comes to the competition. If you're gonna [try to]copy iRacing. Take time to study it, copy the good bits as a base and then tweak appropriately. They clearly have no idea what they're doing. Daily and weekly set of races with 3 events each would suffice, with the latter given a bit more thought as it would attract more competition. Daily could just be geared to an audience looking to have a bit of quick fun.

Try being in New Zealand, the daily races change at 9pm NZ time, so in the average evening session you have to switch tracks halfway through. No time to qualify or learn the track because it'll change by the time you have, and then unless you're willing to stay up late you'll only get an hour or so on the new track.

Combined with the Championship races not beginning till 10pm NZ time, they're really doing their best to screw NZers over. I understand our timezone has the least players so it's the right time to change the races, but surely they could have some earlier championship races and a few weekly races we could focus on so we have something we can actually do in Sport mode?

I can't steer the Audi TT for anything. No matter how hard I turn, if I tap the e-brake before a turn etc. it just understeers. The guys up front rotate it like they're on racing tires. Best I can manage is a 2:22 in it. I guess a DS4 has it's limitations. Even copying the lines from the top runners I have to ease up on the throttle in turns they seemingly take flat out. Maybe I should save money for a wheel, but then again, I don't know if it's even worth it.

How do you know they are all using a wheel ahead of you?

Does anyone know how they set grid positions? I was in P16 based on my quali time but after the warm up I was suddenly in 2nd!! Not that I was complaining haha, but the guys that qualified at the front must have been mad to be put to the back!!

When did I say that?
It's implied in your response. If you felt that it was possible to drive as smoothly as the front runners with a DS4 you would have said you needed to practice harder or learn better technique. You even went so far as to blame the input devices limitations. Instead you said you might think about getting a wheel, implying you need a wheel to be able to drive smooth and be up front.

Yeah dailies really expose the lacking track content

I'm assuming this refers to Alsace reverse? My best was also around 2:22, but with that I had several poles and most of those converted to wins.

Sounds like your DR/SR are not representative of your pace?

My SR dropped big time from the Tokyo race, but even then, I got paired up with someone who was C/D and they were doing 2:20's. I tried to keep pace but I couldn't keep with a couple of them.

I didn't say 'smoothly' at all. I said they could turn the car in a lot easier. I donno if they were using wheels, but I can't make the car 'turn in' any better (to my knowledge) with it's stock setup. Maybe they were using the oversteer assist or something, but when I tried that it wasn't any better. I figure if I had a wheel I could go better. I know I could because I'm not really comfortable using a ds4 and manual transmission.
