GT Sport's Next Update Arrives April 23

I've also got one million plus a bit more to get the 962, Fit, Renault and AE86. My Group C gargae are ready for their latest brother.

Not necessarily... the Prosche 962 and the Honda Fit '14 are new additions. Plus, the models for returning cars tend to be redone/refined.

The AE86 and TT are completely redone from scratch as they were standard cars, as are the 2 you mentioned. So really only 1 of them is a GT6 carryover which is probably the first time we have had an update with only 1 GT6 car mesh. Could be wrong on that factoid.

Not necessarily for the TT. Audi TT 3.2 quattro '03 is already a premium before.

Group C championship in the arcade mode would be nice

Yeah this needs to be a thing. Should be intermediate, professional and 1 hr enduros with the 5 group C cars.

I'll be honest about this collection... the 962 is the only thing that interests me.

The AE86... eh.. its a sub $50k N200 car so it'll be fun. The Gordini again an N200?

No one cares about Audi TT's and I think the Fit Jazz is only in it for the amateur racing series.

What if we do get a Nostalgic Group C event, like the Nostalgic pre-1979 event? A few WSC races in Professional, wouldn't be bad at all.

These were the races from the 1991 season
Rnd Race Circuit Date
1
Fuji Film Cup (430 km) Suzuka Circuit 14 April
2 Trofeo F. Caracciolo (430km) Autodromo Nazionale Monza 5 May
3 Castrol BRDC Empire Trophy (430 km) Silverstone Circuit 19 May
4 24 Hours of Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe 22 June
23 June
5 ADAC Sportwagen-Weltmeisterschaft (430km) Nürburgring 18 August
6 Championnat du Monde de Voitures de Sport (430 km) Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours 15 September
7 Trofeo Hermanos Rodriguez (430 km) Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez 6 October
8 SWC in Autopolis (430 km) Autopolis 28 October

We've got 5 of these circuits. Monza, la Sarthe and NUrburgring to kick things off. :sly:

Here's the thing. Group 1 Cup in Professional League:

- Maggiore GP
- Tokyo East Outer Loop
- Fuji Speedway

Looking at the classic real Group C calendar, PD just needed to add Suzuka and Autopolis, rather than a fictional circuit.

Literally about to post this. Excited for the update so early in the week, only about 48 hours from now.
I'm already prepared to get all of the cars as I have 12.8 million credits!:D
However, I wonder how much the Gordini will cost. Some older cars like the VW Sambabus are dirt-cheap, but something like the Ferrari 250 GTO are very expensive.

Suzuka yes, Autopolis I'm not sure. Track is abit recent compared to every other circuit, not even sure it was around when Group C was happening.

The TT, the Jazz and the 962 are instant buys for me. I couldn't care less about the other two....

Well, there's two things I wasn't expecting to see in the same sentence regarding this update

Because TT's have the reputation for being rich housewives' cars... they're neither fish nor fowl to me.

They're not that fast, they're not that sporty being that understeery 4wd Audi thing... the old 3.2 v6 is fun in a one trick pony style.

There's heaps of Audis that are worth attention in the game over this but for some reason Gran Turismo brings out the weird cars for some reason.

I'd rather we have a modern R8 like an Ultra Plus V10... or even an S5 or one of those RS Avants.

Face it, there's no point buying the new TT as you know you'll be getting a dozen by mid year in the DWG...
