WOW! Epic race today especially up front in the P1 field. As for myself, it was pretty quiet after the start. I did have some serious competition from @Pubs16 until he made an error. I was able to run a 2 stop(1 stop was possible but I wanted to run my softs and mediums) too. I'm also just generally happy since this race marked my 20th career victory here on GTP!

All in all, a really good weekend for myself. Hopefully I'll be able to keep the momentum going into Round 3!

Big congratz to TRL for winning at Spa, absolutely awesome...big respect. Really looking forward to see you dominating the other races too.

race: had a good battle with filo and trl at the start, but wasn't worthy enough to finish 1st, still happy with 3rd because i've couldn't done it any better but still feel like I failed again...So Filo and TRL, congratz with your 1-2 finish...you guys deserved it

...

Was really hoping to win at Spa but sadly enough, it didn't happen the way I wanted it to be...not even on my hometrack so i'm a bit dissapointed..but i'll just move on to the next race....

I was confident that I was getting the victory at P2, but @FutureF1 and @Pubs16 were in front of me at all time. I tried so hard with Deltawing, but my Deltawing is really hard to turn.... When I saw the result, then I was like "Why?" because I could have done much better.

That made me very disheartened, but nevermind.... I'll just try my luck in Shanghai.

Well Gentlemen, Up Next We Head to China!

*qualifying should say 9 and 10*

Results will be updated shortly.

Aside from PD's shotty way of configuring online play, everything ran pretty damn smooth. A little bit of contact and mistakes at the beginning but overall it seems that everything ran decently smooth. from the pace lap all the way to race finish. Even though I came in 4th place, I am just glad that everybody had fun and was able to race competitively. That's my main goal for this series. Here's praying that Shanghai and the other CM tracks run decently smooth and a smooth sailing season.

EDIT: Oh guys, after watching the replay, I completely forgot to mention this as it did not come to mind. I saw @JRDGM1993 Do it and forgot all about it.

You guys are allowed to have differentiating tyres. (I.e. RH for the front tires and RM for the rear.) BE WEARY, YOU WILL HAVE TO USE THIS TYPE OF SETUP FOR BOTH OF YOUR STINTS AS having racing tires in the front or rear ONLY, count as .5/half a set.

A fun race for most it seems! Well done to the guys in P1 for a fantastic close class battle, Congratulations to @Isho in GTE, and of cour @FutureF1 for his second win and 20th, you deserved it mate that was a solid drive.

I guess you could say I've been in Belgium all weekend with the Global GT Finale here yesterday, so for my race I was hopeful starting right behind @FutureF1 to keep with him as our pace was similar. I hadn't done any strategy prep so decided to wing it with a 2 stop (1 was possible as said but tight on fuel!).
After a good start, taking advantage of cooler tyres staying with Future, he pulled away a few seconds up the road once temps normalised and then the gap stayed which I was enjoying.
After the fuel window opened I putted after 20mins going RH to RM early hoping to close the gap to Future come his pit stop. I was making good progress, sure enough Future came in a little later and I was coming through Blanchimont itching in my seat as I knew it'd be damn close as he exited the pits... Just clipping the grass though I had a whoopsie with a near catch and and backed it into the outside wall with engine damage. Dropped the ball at the critical moment lol. Had to pit straight away again and from there it was all about holding P2 in class. The rest of the race was fun, had great pace on the softer tyres but a bit lonely lol, some good points to get back after Silverstone. Sorry to see you struggle a bit with the DW @Harsk100, I hope you can get back on top of it buddy.
Thank you to the guys in GTE, you're great sports when it comes to the faster classes passing you. Just always remember hold your line and we'll work around you, a couple moments guys are getting well out the way which isn't necessary, you guys are racing too :). I do love seeing the Aston and Ferraris on track amongst us, something you don't normally get to see in GT6, for obvious reasons.

Thanks again for another fantastic round and turn out. I also want to shoutout and thank @LexLathor for his time in marshalling our race, although no major incidents and not one FCY period this time out, the new regulation worked a treat in the couple DMG moments, great job.

Well well, now off to Shanghai! A fresh new place for everybody! Personally I have never raced any simulator at Shanghai so it will be very interesting for me to work out. But I'm sure everyone on level playing field it could be a close one, looking forward to it!!
(@Manasseh257NSX do we know which CM track we are using, so we can download it? :) )

Both you and I pited with just 2 laps to go, surely that had to be a miscalculation? had you just filled up 18 more liters in your 2'nd stop you would have won...

There was some questions about how to setup cars in GT6.

Ramon (eclipsee) has put together a guide for how different parameters affect the cars.
This guide can be found here.

Unfortunately, its quite old, writen for GT5 and not GT6. And there is some substansial differences:

Camber should now always be 0.0/0.0
LSD needs much lower values now. Initial 5, accel. 12, and deaccel. 5 is a good starting point.

And this is plain out wrong:
"Min Front / Min Rear (Better Grip)"
"Max Front / Max Rear (Worse Grip)"

And in GT6, weight has a much bigger impact than in GT5, so for the most part, the lighter the better, regardless if the weight balance is bad. (this does not aply to extremely light cars such as the Suzuki GSX-R/4 or LCC Rocket)

There also seems to be an advantage in pushing up the ARB's to 7, but this is not always true, but they should be set relatively high.

If you feel you're still lost, let me know, and I could maybe put together a guide for GT6?

I'm afraid I'll have to withdraw from this series. It seems my situation has changed and I can no longer make it online.

Many thanks for accepting me into this series and I wish you all well.
