Well, it's late, but these really helped. Thanks, A.A.Z.

I wish GT5 would go back to GT2's roots and get all these weird an wonderful cars back in the series, but I guess modeling a car back then to no time compared to today!

They did. It's called GT4!

No there where hundreds of cars in GT2 that were not in GT4...... The Renault Espace F1 for example..... and other crazy models...

and there's some in 4 that aren't in 2 or 1 or 3. :guilty: That's how it is from game to game.

The only thing GT2 has over 4 is race-mods. THAT'S what i miss! :( Well, that's not the only thing. Another thing GT2 has over 4 is you can race every single car you buy or win...in gT4, some special models like the Dodge Prowler, Caterham, 1883 Benz Motorcar, and Nike 2022 concept can be driven on an empty track but they CANNOT be raced :banghead:

...which tips things in favor of GT2 from a gamer's perspective.

so you're right. 4 has some cars & tracks not found in GT2, but GT2 is better in the long run if you want to get more variety.

Yeah that does look pretty sweet. I wonder if i ask it out on a date if it'll say "yes"....:embarrassed:

Nice find sb 👍. Looks nicer in real life than in game. The in game one looks way too ricey.

Thank you. Blame the low-profile tires in GT2 for the appearance. I was actually somewhat disappointed too, but the red scheme made up for it.

The Datsun 240Z also has ludicrously (and I mean Ludacris-ly) low-profile tires in GT2.

Strange. They looked much bigger than that in the NTSC 1.0 version... that picture actually looks period-correct, what with all that sidewall. But yes, the tires look too small, and it is safe to say that perhaps I was referring to that. I mean, the muscular wheel-arches made them look downright ridiculous!

So is there any difference between the GS Corvette and the normal one except paint scheme?

The Viper GTS-R is best in red 👍. I have one as a model in 1:18 scale and it just looks awesome :). Strangely enough the GTS-Rs in the game have that other [rather bland looking] white-blue/green colour scheme 👎. Oh well, there's still the Oreca....

No. The Corvette C4 "coupe" and Grand Sport are exactly the same. They wind up with the same power and weigh the same with weight reductions.

The only different C4 model is the ZR-1, which starts with more power than a regular C4 or Grand Sport, but is also heavier. The ZR-1 also winds up being less powerful with full upgrades, oddly.
