GT3 R34 vs Z06 Round 2 at Monaco

Each person participating in the race must choose the Skyline or the Vette.

RULES!
1. Arcade versions of the cars only!
2. TCS and ASM must be off.
3. Try and stay on the track, we are human and humans make mistakes so attempt a perfect no wall touch, no grass cutting lap.

Race Distance-3 laps around Monaco (Cote D'azur), normal difficulty if my memory serves me correctly.
Race Times are due on Monday March 4th at 11:59 PM. Eastern Standard Time
PM me all times.

Ok but my Bay Side Blue R34 beat the whole 2 other submitties for the Deepforest event after like 50 people said they would race we got 4 times

Bahh. I was hesitant to race in the last round because of the traffic factor. Not really too fond of racing for the fastest time possible with brainless AI cars doing nothing but getting in the way. But I guess I'll have a go at it this round since the race is at Monaco, my favorite track

Hey there's no guarantee that I would pass all 5 cars on that one turn. Plus you have to consider the fact that the AI likes to go deeper into corners than normal, resulting in nasty bumps from behind.

I reallyyyyy didn't had the time last comp. and I kinda missed the end-date(I didn't want to send-in 1.23's anywayz and I lacked a lot of practice) I'll try to do this one...but don't hold me to it :sleep:

Cote D'Azur is Monaco, Cote D'Azur is the games name for it, Monaco is the real life name for it.

Yeah, it's one of my favourite tracks these days, but a bugger to get right! I did some test laps last night in my R34 and started to run pretty(ish) clean - not easy over 3 laps! Still, ended up bringing my lap times down by about 3-4 secs in quite a short session...

PS. Cote D'Azur is the stretch of coastline Monaco sits on. Is there some licensing problems with using the 'Monaco' name outside of F1? So possibly is there a similar problem with 'Monte Carlo' and rallying therefore PD had to use Cote D'Azur?

Umm.. This might be a bit stupid, but You do realize that I'm in different timezone than you. So what do I do, so that I don't post my time too late ??
What timezone should I use in my prefernces? GMT?

CloneHead - I don't think it is: Pearl white, dark and light silver, black, white and met. blue.

I'm in the UK so only 1 hour ahead of you. I do my final run on Thursday night then post first thing Friday. But basically we've got a 6 hour advantage - so theoretically you could run until around 6am Saturday and post then if you wanted to!

Thanks man, but I still wonder: In most challenges people has to post their times at a certian time.

So how do you figure out that I can post a time saturday ??

(I'm pretty confused, but I really want to get this thing right. So I don't have to post the same stupid questions at the next challenge, see ??)

OK. You can PM ZeroCool85 your times anytime you want up till 11.59pm on Friday 1st March - his time, which is 6.59am on Saturday 2nd March - your time. If you want to be completely safe just post your times on Friday - you can't miss!

To be honest, if you think you've hit your best times or you're too busy late in the week, you can post any day - like on Wednesday or something.

Maybe. Monaco might need to sign an agreement of sorts to have the name used. Or possibly F1 has exclusive rights....? Dunno, but you can bet there's some legal BS that PD didn't want to deal with.
